wish there were more free options
i ADORE this creator. she really knows how to turn basic photos into art. i used to purchase her preset packages. the app is pretty cool and makes navigating photo editing especially if you’re a beginner.
my only critique would be having more free options, the options offered are nice and worth having the app, but i wish we got more stuff “premium people” got like some grit options, grain (the reason i love her filters) and maybe a dark room or two. i would do the subscription but its hard to justify because i just post silly things on instagram and stories once or twice a month.
completely understand its A LOT of work to do what her and her team do, but hopefully in the future we can get a little more options. keep up the good work ash and team. i do love what you do and create 🩶

I use to use ash’s presets in Lightroom. Her Trashy app is super user friendly and I love it! My favorite features are Blur and Grain.

Lightroom has competition.
I can only describe the Trashy app as cool girl Lightroom. If you’ve been using Lightroom, VSCO, Instagram, or even the photos app that came with your phone for filters or basic edits, I recommend giving Trashy a try. I’m not very good at creative edits, and I was still able to get some pretty cool results without needing a 10 minute tutorial.
My absolute favorite feature is Blur. I’ve been looking for a way to recreate soft, dreamy pics without needing to smear Vaseline all over my camera lenses, and “Lip Gloss” made my wishes come true.
My only suggestion is a trash bin or recently deleted folder. The save and delete buttons are right next to each other, which has caused me to accidentally delete my hard work more than once.

Most aesthetic app ever!
Been following ash for sometime and would always buy her presets. Love that she created an app just for us to become that it girl and find our aesthetic! I love the lay out of the how the photos are shown and the different variety of filters. It allows me to create a good mood scheme for my Instagram .

Love it but most of the app requires a subscription.
Everything is basically in the title. I love the app and I use it to adjust my settings but none of the free presets are great and the others are super cool, you can try them but they all require a subscription.

My favorite app ever! I have so much fun editing my photos and videos using TRASHY. Ash and Zach are killing it <3 just when I think it can’t get any better, they come out with an amazing update! The premium features are 100% worth it.

I love this app so much! I love how it’s everything from vintage, alternative, grunge and everything in between- there’s a filter for everyone. I love that you can layer different effects together (blur, grain etc) I’m so proud of Ash Levi for creating this app! It is such a unique editing experience!

I’ve been a long time user of the Trashy presets and they’re amazing, they’ve become a must-have for my photo editing process. The fact that they’ve gone and made a whole app and are so attentive to even the smallest detail is amazing. Oh and did I mention it also edits VIDEO?! 10/10 no notes.

Good Start, Too Expensive
I really like the presets in this app but I don’t think there are enough of them to justify the price tag. In the ‘Try Premium’ menu option there is no ‘try’ about it - neither the monthly nor the annual option come with a free trial. I’ve option for monthly to give it a fair try. I’ve paid for lots of different editing apps over the years and I don’t shy away from subscriptions, but this is just too expensive. Personally for apps like this that are still small and new, I prefer it when developers offer a one-time lifetime subscription option. I think I would happily pay £30 for the app knowing it will be added to. But £5.99 a month for an app with standard editing tools and 29 presets doesn’t work for me. The old model that A Color Story used might be good here; a free base app and then filter packs to purchase? I worry that this app won’t be around for long at the current pricing but I love Ash and I’d love to see this flourish!

I love this more than the VSCO filters
TRASHY APP does not disappoint! VSCO walked so TRASHY can run!! The filters on this app are so good and give off that classic vintage 90s vibe. I love the features that are included even the star buttons are so cute. The names for each filter is unique and brings out that grungy charm TRASHY provides. I can’t wait to see what else Ash has in store for this app!

My fav app on my phone
I have been editing photos since the scene days and I love love love the trashy app. Instead of hoping to find your aesthetic like I felt I did with other apps, the trashy studio already works to match me. I am the aesthetic when using this app. So user friendly. So many filter options. The grains? Amazing. Super easy to navigate and I truly feel like there is a setting for everyone. The HSL setting has really taken my iphone photos to the next level.
