GloWalk: Smart Night Flashligh

GloWalk is a smart flashlight designed for night walking. It adjusts brightness in real time based on five factors: ambient light, phone posture, dark adaptation, moon phase, and weather, so every step you take is perfectly lit. Record your walk as a golden trail and generate a shareable night-walk poster when you arrive. Key Features: - 5-Axis Adaptive Brightness: Ambient light, posture, dark adaptation, moon phase, and weather are calculated in real time to find the optimal brightness. Each factor can be toggled independently. - Apple Health Sync: With your permission, completed walks are written to the Health app as full workout records (steps, distance, duration, and route). Write-only — GloWalk never reads your health data, and nothing leaves your device. - Drag-to-Adjust Brightness: Drag the central glow circle up or down through ten discrete levels and release to keep it, or drag all the way down to the brightness bars to turn the torch fully off. Tap again to restore auto brightness. - Path Recording: GPS walking paths are rendered as golden bezier trails with footprint markers at start and end. Occasionally, a nocturnal animal silhouette appears as an easter egg. - Night Walk Posters: When your walk ends, GloWalk generates a poster with your path, the night's moon phase, and a poetic tagline. Share it or save it to your photo library. - Dark Interface: Every pixel is designed for night use. Amber-on-black HUD, no white flashes. - 11 Languages: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Russian — switchable at runtime. Each language uses a matching open-source handwriting font (LXGW WenKai, Klee One, LXGW WenKai KR — all SIL OFL licensed). - Cooler Operation: The rear camera runs only when needed, and the torch steps down gently under heat, reducing heat buildup. - Privacy First: Walk data stays on-device, no account, no analytics, no tracking. Health data is only written to Apple Health with your explicit permission and never leaves your device. Only your location is sent to Apple WeatherKit and Open-Meteo for current weather.
