Indoor Leagues — Best Option
I operate a year-round indoor facility with Full Swing Sims in the Chicago-area with competitively handicapped leagues & scramble format leagues playing simultaneously… don’t get me wrong, the course set-up to make indoor handicapping possible takes a considerable chunk of time (especially when creating each individual tee set) — and it’s 100% worth it!!! (Hire a high school golfer who’s good with computers, done!)
If you’ve never directed golf tournaments before, this software will probably be confusing for you. It’s definitely built for league managers who have solid experience directing competitive outdoor leagues & tournaments.
That said, once you get the hang of league set-up & trial-&-error your way thru the league settings to get it just right for each format — it’s a one-and-done project. BEST ALL-INCLUSIVE SOFTWARE FOR AN UNBEATABLE PRICE!!! HANDS-DOWN!!!
and I know — Full Swing has a “Compete” software for leagues & tournaments… until it has a continuous handicapping feature, I won’t even consider switching. Even then, I don’t know that it’d be worth the massive cost difference… I now feel SO confident running my leagues on golfleaguetracker.com, the results and standings pages are extraordinarily professional and print-ready, and the pre-made scorecards are the cherry on top of an ahead delicious sundae!
