Ow Totally Useless
Since lunchtime on Saturday 9th May, I am unable to add any blood glucose readings in the iPhone app because the “blood glucose” category is no longer displayed meaning I can’t manually add my readings to the app. Seems to be working to a degree on the iPad but you cannot edit the time the reading was taken so if I want to add a reading taken when I’m out later in the day, the time is incorrect, something which was editable in the app before it was broken. Honestly, with every update it seems to get less usable, I used to be able to take pictures of my device and have the reading imported but that doesn’t work anymore either, so effectively useless since I don’t have a Bluetooth device.

Functionality reduced
This app used to allow me to manually add my blood glucose results, that option has been removed. I would have expected that functionality to be quite important. Change the name from ‘Voyager’, to ‘Returning to Harbour’.
Won’t send code to email
I set up an account with this app but it’d not sending the verification code to my email
Poor app
Confusing UX. Graphs are fiddly. Doesn’t sync data to the Health app. Randomly requires to re-authenticate, then loses all records. 1*.
No emails, can’t sign up
During sign up an email is supposed to be sent. You can’t use the app without the emailed code. I have not received an email, I’ve even checked my junk folder
Getting better but still not perfect
Although this app has improved in recent iterations (eg no glaring spelling mistakes anymore that give the game away it was coded in a country where English isn’t the primary language), it can still improve. My usage of the app is simple, I have one device connected through it, my GlucoRX Blue blood glucose meter. Why on opening the app, doesn’t it always try and synch with that meter automatically rather than me having to make additional taps to get that?
Additionally it used to be possible to see the individual readings in bar graph form - why has that been removed? I don’t want a trend graph but specific bars with values on each one with the day and time listed as it used to be. It seems like this has been a step backwards.
Surely the name of the game should be to get the readings you want as easily as possible?

Cannot Not Record Insulin etc
I am a T2 on insulin. I need to record doses of bolus and basal insulin. The package can only record blood sugar readings.
There is no incentive or convenience in changing from my present routine/tools.

Impossible to sign up!
Tried to install this app. Creates an account but then says it will send code to email but never does no matter how many times I click resend! And yes I have checked my spam folder and via multiple ways of accessing my email. No options given at all to enable me to resolve this issue.
Mediocre App made worse by latest update
Latest update (4/09/25) required me to log back in & promptly rejected my password! Had to reset it and time spent doing so meant upload of data to app was lost. Is pretty much par for the course: earlier versions of this app were so bad as to be unusable - I had multiple contacts with customer support & several app updates before it started to even work on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Finally got it to work but it is clunky and biggest flaw is that there is no way to delete erroneous readings (as any diabetic will tell you these do occur & a second reading within a minute will confirm them as an outlier). The app also uploads ‘QC’ calibration readings from using the control solution with a new set of test strips. There is no way to delete these readings which means that they are included in the data presented in the app (& uploaded to other apps such as Apple Health) giving a misleading picture of your blood sugars & undermining the whole point of having an app based record rather than an old fashioned time consuming paper logbook!

Too many questions
I didn’t even finish registration as they were asking way too many personal questions which none is needed to use an app.
What reason do you need a full address and location and phone number?!
This just screams scam.

The Worst App
Not fit for purpose. Does not fit to my iOS 14 pro screen and cannot be adjusted. User unfriendly. Don’t bother.
Could get it to work
Tried to input my data from my GlucoRx AiDEX but would not transfer
Works with my iPhone 16 Pro (eventually)
Could be better but at least now the glaringly obvious spelling mistake I reported in the last version has been fixed. It must have been developed in a country where English isn’t their native language and no one checked the spelling. I only have one GlucoRX device (my Nexus Blue blood sugar testing device) so this app should be all setup to automatically read the results from that when I load the app but instead I have to jump through many hoops (with extra screen taps) to get there.

Not Working
App just keeps freezing on my IPhone 16 pro max. Tried for two days installing and uninstalling complete waste of time.
Does not work
Wont let you do anything unless you register for an account. However registration process simply doesn’t work.
Useless - Wont Work on iPhone 15 Pro Max
Latest version (3:015?) says it is a fix to registration problems on Pro Max Screens but have just received my meter and can confidently state IT DOESN’T WORK on my iPhone 15 Pro Max. Problem is that the app requires you to register before you can pair the meter & actually use the bluetooth functionality but is so badly designed that the iPhone keyboard obscures the password entry field at the bottom of the registration screen leaving you WITH NO WAY TO ENTER A PASSWORD! Putting aside the ethical and security questions around requiring purchasers to provide GlucoRx with your personal details (including phone number) before you can use the device to upload your medical info to the Apple Health App it is just ridiculous that the product support is so poor it won’t work with recent iPhones.

Useless
Repeatedly failed to pair with my RX Blue and the text entry field to add a name when trying the manual method would not bring up the iOS keyboard to enter anything. I’d have to conclude that this app is unfit for purpose.
Another backwards step
When I first downloaded this app you had different options to record readings from your glucose meter. Manual entry, screen capture or download.
You can’t use screen capture anymore, like you can in the GlucoRx Vision app, that’s gone. You can use download, which gets the information from your meter when you power it down, that still works. Manual entry used to be easy.
1. Pick a category of device, glucose meter, BP monitor, pulse oximeter or forehead thermometer.
2. Pick the model you have.
3. Select the ID of the device you have paired with your phone.
4. Record your reading.
The problem with app version 3.0.15 is that it only lists a small number of the devices available. Many are missing compared to the list in the previous version, including my GlucoRx Nexus Blue. It doesn’t list it so you pick OTHER.
But then it doesn’t recognise the MAC address of the paired device.
So your only option is to download your results. But you cannot edit them and weed out all the wrong results that have things like date errors that were wrongly captured when you could use screen capture. Not only do you have today’s result but you also have several results ranging from 2028 to 2035.

Good but could be soo much better
Have been using this app to log my sugars. Have to say that having the Bluetooth meters is a godsend to sync, rather than the previous meter which had to be connected to a computer to upload and transfer - what a faff!!
However having more than one meter (I have one for the House, Car and Office), I would love the option to ‘name’ the meter in the app, similar to what can be done with the meters that need to be connected via computer. This would just make things easier to sync the meter you are using at the time rather than having to worry about knowing the MAC.
Would also love the option to sync other CGMs other than the Aidex as it is not available for me at this time. Logging insulin doses would also be useful.
As is consistent throughout all the apps, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach and like most other users I find that several apps are needed to fully integrate these ‘helpful’ tools into different lifestyles.
However for syncing with apple health and syncing to meter it works well. I find I don’t use much else in the app other than syncing the blood sugars. So can’t fault it for this but a ‘one stop shop’ would be better.

Poor design
Downloaded this app on an IPhone 14 Pro which is fully updated to the latest IOS. The apps main pages are set too wide for the screen so it cuts out a lot of information and cannot be rotated.
When going into the settings tab the app freezes so you can’t adjust any settings at all.
