Good app.

I had a problem getting the app set up properly, but my previous review was incorrect. Everything is working as expected. Apologies

Happy so far

I was looking for an app that would give me widgets that would allow me to see my glucose levels without having to unlock and open my phone and my CGM app. This app has delivered just that. The fact that when I’m driving it shows my BG levels in real time on Apple CarPlay has come in handy already. So far I’m satisfied with this app. Once I see my dr again I will try out the part of the app that allows me to share my data with my doctor. I’m still not familiar with all this app has to offer but I’m slowly learning each function so I can get a better understanding of my diabetes. I’ve only been on insulin for a little over a year so I’m still learning what my full diabetes picture looks like, and Gluroo has played a part in creating that picture.

At the moment the app does not work adequately on iOS

The app widgets are usually displaying very out-of-date readings. It puts a line through the readings to be clear. The very latest app using the current iOS 26.6.1 - it’s related to the app having no background refresh.

This is potentially dangerous for type 1 diabetics. It may be Apples responsibility or the developer not implementing the app properly. Please resolve immediately as a first priority.

Good Gluroo

It gives you so much more information than most of the other apps.

Unstable and buggy app, but it remains the best one.

That is definitely the best app I’ve ever used to track my diabetes. My control has improved a lot since I started using it.

However, the app is very slow and full of bugs. The app receives constant updates, but none of them seem to focus on fixing its bugs. Many updates alter core functionalities and the interface, which is completely unnecessary and confusing.

I use an iPhone 17 Pro and the app constantly crashes, forcing me to restart it. Please stop changing the interface so frequently and focus on fixing the app's instability and bugs.
