Out of date

It looks like the snow is out of date. I found an additive that wasn't on their list.

Useless app

This app provides very basic information and they charge 10$ for this basic

Fake information

What a waste of money
App costs 9.99 but took 19.99 from my account

Deleted within a minute

What a waste of $9.99! No scanning option, no specific product lists. Absolutely pointless. No helpful at all.

Excellent

Clear, simple to use and very comprehensive. An indispensable resource for coeliacs. Recommended.

Worth every cent.

My daughter when diagnosed at 8 and our family used this app to help us learn to read labels. Was a wonderful investment!!!!

App requires bar code scanner

This is a great app I have installed it on my daughters phone so when she goes to friends places she can check the ingredients before she eats anything. Only problem is it would be a lot easier if you could scan the barcode. Would be easier and much quicker! Especially when you are shopping 😊

Update??

3 years no update?? Why not?

So useful

This app is excellent. Worth every cent. So easy to check ingredients or numbers you are not sure about and be 100% sure. Has saved us a few potential disasters with coeliac daughter. Thank you.

Really Good

This app is so good. It is so helpful in allowing me to know what ingredients and additives in the food I buy I can and can't eat. I would really like it to add a barcode scanner where I can just scan a barcode and see what ingredients in the thing I'm buying I can't eat.

Good app, but...

Good app for checking ingredients and additives, but it's just a list from what I can see. FoodSwitch scans product barcodes, gives quick results (without a connection), seems to be Australian too, and is free. Wish I had tried that first.

Absolutely rubbish

If you know the basics of celiac disease then don't waste $10 on this app. Basic knowledge that you can pick up for free of the Internet!!

A life saver!

Awesome app. So so handy. But please upgrade to match the latest book version.

A must for coeliacs!

The app is good at providing information about ingredients including additives. Unfortunately it hasn't been updated in two years for iPhone 5 resolution (minor) or incorporating a global search within the app for both ingredients *and* additives in a single search (major). Despite asking for a combined search in person twice, this hasn't happened. The result is going back and forth between search options (time wasting when shopping) or going through ingredients then additives in separate batches when reading ingredients lists. This effectively means you are reading twice and could mean leaving out ingredients. After all if something is in a food product, it is am ingredient even if it is an additive. Isn't it? I understand that the app simulates the hardcopy book but electronic technology has much more potential than emulating a printed book. The cost of the app is high but highly recommended at the price. I am a single male and I'm not going to bring a printed copy of the book with me every time I go shopping. Enhancement like barcode scanning like the GoScan app for a simple Coeliac can I have it or not answer, optical character recognition (OCR) using the camera on the device rather than type out every word and number would be massive potential improvements. Even if OCR isn't perfect, give a list of potential matches to choose from would save time. I have no regrets buying and recommending this app but there is room for improvement.

Awesome app!

I've found this really useful to cater for family members with coeliac disease. Coeliac Australia also has membership available - there's a lot more to know than just what is in the app.

Amazing when on the run

Same benefits as everyone else, when mobile and at the shops, it's a very useful tool on the run... Hope they have regular updates.

Brilliant!

One stop, reliable, detailed guide. App is easy to use and great to have in your pocket.

Favourite gluten free reference

My daughter was recently diagnosed as being coeliac. This app makes shopping for gluten free items effortless. As we are growing more accustomed to what ingredients to avoid this is a great reference point when shopping and dining out. Recommend it to all newly diagnosed coeliacs.

Fabulous

This has been wonderful. It has actually widened the variety of food that we eat. Before if I was unsure of the gluten content I would steer clear altogether, this app has allowed me to make an informed choice quickly

Great app for shopping

Fantastic App! Just discovered my daughter and husband have coeliac disease and went shopping to buy all the gluten-free goods on the weekend. Every time I wanted to check whether the ingredients or additives were OK on a product - all I had to do was check the app. Easy and quick to use and something that's handy to have on standby whenever food is involved!
