Mouse and keyboard support
Hello GnaCAD Team,
I’m a civil engineer working professionally on iPad, and I’ve tested your app with great interest. Its capabilities in editing DWG files and navigating drawings are truly impressive, and I believe the app has real potential.
However, there are two key limitations that currently prevent me from purchasing the full version:
1. Lack of comprehensive keyboard shortcut support. I’m referring not just to basic actions like copy and undo, but to full desktop-level shortcuts that significantly enhance CAD workflows—such as Delete, Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+C/V, Zoom In/Out, Pan, Select All, and more.
2. No support for zooming using the mouse scroll wheel. This feature is essential in engineering environments, especially when using an iPad with an external mouse.
If these two features are implemented, I’m ready to purchase the app immediately. They are fundamental to efficient daily work and would greatly improve productivity.
I hope you’ll consider this request, and I look forward to seeing these enhancements in future updates.

Lovely app but
It works great, but the pen doesn’t line up with the cursor on an ipad pro. I wonder if that can be fixed? UPDATE* The issue is that the pointer is only aligned with the input pencil/finger/ mouse/ in the bottom left corner of the window. Still no fix.
Not importing
This is not opening my imported files.
Abandoned? No help or manual?
This app has a lot of potential but for the following problems:
- The app appears to have been abandoned (though the developer is still taking our money…) for 3 years.
- I’m paying for the "pro" version, but there do not actually seem to be any "pro" features.
- There is no "help" system or manual, which is a problem given that the app does not follow standard approaches to CAD and the icons have no tooltips.
- The app does not work with the Apple Pencil 2
It’s a shame because this could have been so good!

Will not open other dxf files
Not being able to import other dxf files makes this program useless.
Was an awesome app
I loved this app so much that i bought it. However now my touch isnt recognized properly(registers about 10mms to the 7oclock position of where i actually touched) and i try to compensate but its just too aggravating to keep fighting with. Whatbcan i do to fix this?

Great DWG viewer and editor
I looked at several apps for editing DWG files, and this is by far the most intuitive app. I love that you can try the the app without registration and the price is very reasonable.

What’s happened!
Used to be a 5G star app, now it crashes when opening files is slow to upload files to the cloud too!

Tedious
Something I can do in Visio in 5 minutes I can’t do with this at all. It’s unintuitive, slow and cumbersome.
Has a mind of its own on iPad Pro
Green Y line covers up drawn lines. Coordinates are inconsistent, it draws the first line, but it doesn’t pick up one of those points as specified.
Crashes routinely
The application, when it works, is great!
Has enough features for most tasks, but crashes frequently losing work, even after periodic (manual) saving 😟

Works well with little effort
To make it the No1 app for tablets, it would be fantastic to link Leica Disto laser and then it deserves 5 stars
Best 2D drafting app!!!
This app is just best for 2D / Isometric drafting. Very similar to autocad desktop version, much better then autocad mobil version. There is a brief description of many command buttons, but its not enough, Please add a help menu or more detailed description of all of its functions and commands. Also, if possible, please add a polygon option and grid snap and snap buttons to drawing menu bar, it would save few extra “clicks” instead of going to settings for that. Other than that its a fantastic app, stable, many functions, intuitive, just pleasure to work with, but lack of snap buttons is frustrating at times.

Best DXF/ model build app
For building 3D civil models on an IPad, nothing comes close to this app. TBC or Civil 3Dmay be better and quicker, but they have no editor on the IPad, let alone 3D. I’ve been able to figure out how to build nearly any civil workload from the plans with this app. I highly recommend this app
Not working
I am really hapy with this app but is not working. All the time when try to open file created in autocad (dxf) app shutying down to home screen and cant reopen. Need to try few times to open and it happen again and again
Worth the effort
I’m a hobby user who wanted an affordable CAD App to produce high quality drawings for personal use and to have items made in jobbing workshops.
This app is both affordable and effective. It does, however, take some effort and time to learn how to use efficiently. Nevertheless, once mastered it is very good for making and printing paper plans for use. Some experience of other CAD packages is very useful along with the conventions of technical drawing.
