I used to like this app. Then the went to traffic camera only. Problem is it no longer provides most of the cameras. I just deleted this app
Crashes when viewing cameras
With the latest iOS update app crashes when trying to view cameras. Of course app was updated 4 years ago!!!
USELESS!
I used check the traffic maps before leaving the house but they no longer work. What good are cameras when they are delayed or don’t work. Plus um not going to check the entire route for congestion. They need to fix this!
DO NOT DOWNLOAD - Use Waze or Google Maps
This app is an example of how backwards and lazy Hawaii can be: they discontinued traffic congestion lines on Oct. 1, 2021, to focus on traffic camera usage — but lo and behold, a number of the cameras DO NOT WORK, and if they do, they’re either not looking at a roadway or they’re not on time (some cameras are showing clear daytime at 10:45 AM when it’s 6:45 PM outside). Another thing for the cameras that do work [sometimes]: they “conveniently” stop working and are blacked out during peak traffic hours. What a joke of an app. It used to be useful, but someone dropped the ball somewhere… 👎🏽👎🏽

Traffic Flow
SO DISAPPOINTED the traffic flow maps were discontinued!!!! It was my go app before heading on the roadways. If there was a back up, I would then check the cameras. At least bring that back. Maybe I’ll just remove app & go w/ Waze.
Multi-purpose tool
I am a landscaper and I use this app everyday not just for traffic! I check the continuously updated weather thru the cameras near most job sites! I recommend this app!

ZERO STARS! HORRIBLE!
The newest version isn't user friendly at all. Before I could choose a route and swipe through camera images.
Now the app seems to freeze often so it's nearly possible to find the cameras I want to view, and when I do find it, "image unavailable".
I have to try several times before I can see images.
Please go back to the other version. Shouldn't fix what isn't broke.

Fix the update
Wish I never undated!!!! Doesn't work, put it back the way it was!!! NOW!!!
The recent update made me delete the app
The most recent update overhauled the look and feel of the "app" from decent to terrible. The new interface resembles a poorly constructed website.
Crashes when you need it the most? Really?
Today is 3/31/2015. The Zipper Lane's "Zipper" got stuck in the morning and is still stuck in the afternoon rush hour. Go Akamai can Go Take a Hike. It crashed every time I tried using it! I can understand the volume of users may be the culprit, but what good is this app if when you really need the most, it fails!

useful real-time camera views!
when trying to plan route or travel time, the ability to look at the real-time camera views is awesome!!!

Fails to live up to potential
This app could be so much more but instead it lets me down at every turn.
Apps like google maps and waze will give you more accurate info, more useful info and almost in real time.
The colored overlay on the freeway is inaccurate and only covers the freeway. Google maps app gives way more coverage and accuracy.
The traffic cams are still images and up to 5 mins old. And there no to tell which are offline without attempting to view it.
The drive times are extremely optimistic when there's no traffic and virtually useless when there is.
The incidents only covers pre planned construction events, not accidents or emergency road work.
The new "alerts" section is just a mobile browser showing a twitter feed. And one that is only updated a couple times a day at best. I'm not sure how that constitutes alerts.

Solid......most of the time
I joke you not: the traffic cams always seem to be down (or the app not working) during rush hour traffic in the mornings--when I happen to need the info the most!
People need to know
This app should be advertised. It will help traffic, even if only a little bit. Knowledge is power!
Every camera shows up blank, even after multiple refreshes
Were government bureaucrats and/or well-connected government contractors paid big bucks for this garbage app? Where are the images or videos from all the street and highway cameras?? Time to refund taxpayers for this useless execution of what might have been a good idea for an app.
Great app
Why doesn't the state market this app? When I see traffic on the cams, I'll take another route, ultimately freeing up traffic for everyone. The more people use it, the better traffic gets.

Actually found this app to be very helpful here. Born and raised in Hawaii so I know there's lots of traffic and accidents everywhere. This app is very easy to use and very plain and easy. Nicely done Hawaii.
