No advertised price

They don’t list what the cost will be after the trial. I downloaded the app and they don’t show any prices. I’m not going to sign up and start using this app when I have no idea how much it will end up costing. Looks like bait and switch

Scheduling and reminders work, app needs updating

I’ve been using GoReminders since 2020. I love how customizable it is for client messages and it works well to make sure my clients know when their appointments are and how to join them. I have individual zoom links for each client that stays the same and wanted reminders one day and one hour before the session. GoReminders can do that and it’s great!

That said, the app really needs to be updated. It has crashed 3 times this morning trying to do some simple tasks. Each time I have to restart my phone. It isn’t unusual for the app to crash once but maybe something changed since the last iPhone update. Anyway, I will be happy to update my review when this is fixed.

Best scheduling app

These guys are always getting better and better cannot go wrong with this scheduling app

GoReminders is cheap for a reason …..

While I love GoReminders as a service and use it for my company daily,
The app is a joke. It will randomly crash. Randomly delete entire customers , or conveniently turn 100+ customers message preference to “none”

Even when these people never unsubscribed from messages.
When you try to talk to the team about it they say to use the browser option.

Firstly, how is that a solution? Why not fix the app you made….

Secondly, the convenience I’m paying for is to have this app (and my clients) accessible to my phone when I’m on the go. Very often if I’m not connected to GOOD wifi it will not open or send anything in a browser (including places like coffee shops or hotels that have free wifi but it isn’t super great. Somehow that’s not enough)

Never once has any team member, including the CEO Jonathon, said anything about improving the app.

But they have no issue charging my card each month and HOUNDING you for 5 Star reviews on every platform imaginable.

Every day I’m actively looking for a new text/ reminder platform.

Scammy and Disrespectful

This app charges way more than their competitors for inferior functionality. I tried them out for a month and when the trial ended and I was charged for the first month, I lost a huge portion of functionality. The only way to get it back was to pay $60 or more for a higher level plan when the appointment scheduler is self has such limited functionality. Ridiculous. So I signed up for Vagaro which does all the same plus more for a better price and then went to cancel.
Well, that turns out to be impossible on their site. There aren’t even instructions or ANY mention of how to cancel on their site or app. Not even a contact us with a customer support email. The only way I found was to get into the chat bot which you arrive at by clicking on a link to discuss a custom enterprise solution.
I asked the bot how to cancel and it told me to submit a request via email detailing why I wanted to cancel and gave me an email address. So I send the cancelation request via email.
Someone responded wanting to know if they could get on the phone with me to discuss solutions. No thanks, just cancel. So they sent a cancellation form with a non-optional field to explain to them why you want to cancel. I wrote my explanation and submitted the form. Moments later I get the same guy back on email, trying to talk me into staying based on what I said in the form. Asking questions like, how many appointments do you have per day and how much are you willing to pay! I did not appreciate how difficult they make it to cancel. So much back and forth. Very disrespectful imo. I responded again that I was not interested in being negotiated with and to please respect my decision to cancel my plan. FINALLY they say they will cancel it. I don’t appreciate the manipulation.

Awesome !

Very user friendly ! I was sending out appointments within a few minutes of getting it. Definitely recommend!

Cost

Every app I’ve gone to has the price available right away but this one kept saying free trial so I thought it must be a little more expensive. $300 a year I’m assuming is the base rate for 15 text reminders a month. The price said $25 a month paid yearly for 15 texts
That’s how I understood it. $300

iOS 17 causes application to instantly crash

After updating iPhone 14 pro to iOS 17 application instantly crashes when attempting to schedule appointments. Lost ability to change or edit everything. As soon as changes are attempted software immediately shuts down and tosses you out. Until application is fixed/updated it totally unusable on iPhone. Add ability to include a photo in software. For example, face or project picture. With a lot of messages and people, new names get lost. Finally, the application is a little slow. I’m on latest Mac software and new computers, internet is 400 mp and it lags switching between applications in the application, sending, etc. Received a developer response stating they are aware of and may or may NOT fix the issues. What?, they know something is wrong and they may NOT fix it? Response further stated to just access the program on the web and NOT use the application. 😳 Hey Apple, you hearing this about this product on your application store? Last software update on this was 3 years ago!

Review updated: A+

This is my updated review on GoReminders.
I was having the most frustrating time with the website and the app. I had forgotten my password and got a temporary one and then went to update the password. Every time when I clicked submit the website would crash. I attempted to try again several times and then finally reached out to the company. They went above and beyond trying to find a solution to the problem. And finally…it worked! Thank you Jocelle for your patience and assistance!

Website crashes

I have been trying to reset my password and once I get the temporary password I go in to change the password for a permanent one and as soon as I submit it, the website crashes. It happens on my laptop and mobile devices.
I’m going to have to cancel my membership because of this. Please fix!!

I love this app but..

It times out and erases progress when editing your content after so long. Also, it would be more useful if clients can add their address along with their phone number and email. I run my own cleaning business and it would be helpful if I can see where I'm cleaning, instead of asking the client for the address. Other than that, good app! This app gives me the hour of my time back every month that I used to use to send reminder texts weekly. It's worth the 60$!

Company is not honest about features

WARNING: you can only cancel your subscription via their website chat!

The features in the free trial are not the features in the starter pack. They will want you to pay $50-$60 a month to get everything except a single text per client (no confirmations or sequences).

Perfect for Small Business

I work for my family’s small upholstery shop and its my job to run the office. Which means I take care of everything from answering the phone, placing orders, taking care of all incoming deliveries and schedule appointments. GoReminders has made it seamless and beyond easy to not only help me keep better track of our appointments, but text our customers their appointment conformations. And then a reminder closer to the appointment date. Which has cut down on no-call no-show appointments considerably. With almost everyone relying solely on text messages to communicate, for a small mom & pop business like ours this app is the way to go. Highly recommend.

Waaay too expensive.

Nice app but if you have 10 + clients a day the price is astronomical, 2400/year?! I don’t even know how that’s competitive when other reminder apps charge 20-40/ month. Look around and you will find better deals.
