Rarity alerts Get a push or email the moment a mega or rare bird turns up. Watch a radius around any spot you choose, a county, a state, or the whole world — name your locations, tune the radius on a map, and mute anything you've already seen. Log anywhere, even with no signal Sightings now save on your phone when you're out of service and upload themselves as soon as you're back in range. Photos and audio come along with them. A smarter Rarity Radar Rarity is now based on actual records rather than how many people have reported a bird, so a genuine mega stays flagged instead of fading as the crowd arrives. Cards show record counts where we know them ("10th record for Metro Vancouver") and how many observers have logged it. My Needs, rebuilt Switch between Month, Year, and Life lists and see only what you haven't logged yet in that area. Travel mode Leave home and the Radar and your needs follow you — local, state, country, or worldwide, however you set it. Explore the map The Rarities map now covers your whole country, so you can pan around and see what's turning up anywhere. Fixes throughout 1.2.1 update fixes a log issue and allows muted rare bird alerts to be turned on and off.
