This app is so great to use, and allows me to fully manage my schedule at the tap of a button. Super efficient and modern. I love working for GoRN!

Easy scheduling

Makes scheduling shifts for extra $$ smooth and easy!

Very UNPROFESSIONAL Company

Very UNPROFESSIONAL Company! I would suggest another app like NurseFly, Nomad, and TrustedHealth before using this app. I cannot believe the bad experience and how I was treated working with Johnny the director! I had to cancel a shift due to an emergency family situation, keep in mind, 4 other nurses have expressed they have canceled last minute with the company which has a 12-hour cancelation policy. The nurses who canceled before were NOT within the 12 hour cancelation window and continue to work for the company. Johnny even verbalized that I was within the 12 hours of cancelation acceptance. The following week I expressed interest in another shift and was appalled at the PATRONIZING and CONDESCENDING actions of “said” director. He continues the conversation by condescendingly bringing up how I canceled before and asking me repeatedly if I was going to cancel this particular shift. PEOPLE CANCEL ALL THE TIME ON THE APP, yet I was singled out and asked if I was “sure” I would take the shift, even after I repeatedly stated I was available and I wanted the shift. I felt like I was an adult being talked to as a child. This behavior is EXTEMELY disrespectful. I called in a few days after the incident and asked why I was wasn’t receiving text messages about working, he informed me that he ASSUMED after our last text that I wasn’t interested in working with them and stated “I don’t think this company is a right fit for you, we don’t have time to cater to one nurse. I assumed you didn’t want to work with our company and took you off”. I even communicated that I was available for further shifts and he just disregarded with an excuse blaming the app’s inconsistencies. Please find another app, we work too hard to be treated poorly by inconsiderate companies………………………………………………………….

**************************************************This is VERY SAD, and further proof at how UNPROFESSIONAL GORN really is; you respond back to my review to try and discredit it with LIES? Please just remove me from your email list. Because I am now receiving emails from YOUR COMPANY trying to send me to different assignments? (Feb 2022) I’ve never been a DNR to any medical facility, never left in the middle of my shift, nor was a “No Call No Show”. Your company didn’t allow me the opportunity of 3 strikes, nor did you show any empathy towards the family emergency I went through. Yet you continue this NARCISSISTIC approach to discredit my review instead of taking the information and learning from the incident to become a better company. If anything , I think legal action should be in order. Please work on your ACCOUNTABILITY, because this is an ALL TIME LOW, SHAME ON YOU.

Go RN is awesome

Go RN has made it easier to work.. the app helps schedule and when I’m not on a shift I can pick up on demand .. it’s kind of like Uber but for nurses.

Insanely Rude Staff

When I attempted to apply it took a few months to hear back. I repeatedly tried to email them and was finally cleared.

Working with them has been a continuous challenge. They work via this app, you put in availability and that’s the companies foundation. The app itself tends to crash and you can’t login. I have had this repeated problem and spoke with many other staff that stated the same issue. Each time management is INSANELY rude and condescending. As if it’s my fault their app won’t work...no support and they are SO RUDE! They also like to change things last minute. They will send you to horrible places with no resources.

Honestly I expect respect as a bare minimum when working with a company! I should be able to reach out to them when their things don’t work! I do not work in IT I’m a nurse. If your homemade app doesn’t work, I can’t work!

Login problems.

I can’t create an account. I started the process but wasn’t able to finish. Now I can’t create an account with the same email and phone number. On the login page there is not “forgot password” link. Not sure if this is just an iPhone problem.

Marie, Sorry for the inconvenience with logging in. We understand that it can be upsetting when you cannot login into an app after starting the process. We should have made it easier for you to find a solution or at least an answer. In your situation, it sounds like the process was never completed, therefore login permission was never granted. As a nurse registry we have to completely vet all clinicians that apply with Go RN, before we can allow them to schedule any shifts on our app. Again, there should have been an easier way for you to find the answers you needed. Can’t Create an Account

I also cannot make an account it wants me to have a email and password but I have never signed up and there is nowhere to create a new account or reset your password. Don’t know if this is just an iPhone thing?

Jinky, We apologize for the issue you had logging in. We should have made it easy for you to find a solution or at least an answer. This is a common complaint we use to receive. We cannot give anyone access to schedule at our locations until they are properly vetted and have gone through the complete hiring process. As you know the medical industry has the strictest regulations when it comes to placing clinicians in medical facilities. If we allowed anyone to create an account, login into our app and start scheduling shifts without going through the proper hiring process, that would just be extremely careless on our part. I cant use it because i cant reset my password because there is no button in login like the picture shows.

They do not care about their nurses

I was working their ERT shifts with the city of LA from April to Nov. I was working pretty regularly 5-6 days a week. One day Johnny calls me up and says “the staff at friendship park on this date said you were sleeping at work”. And I said what do you mean? Mind you, since working for GoRn in April I’ve never had a staff complain about me. He replied that a staff member complained that I was “sleeping” and because of that GORN cancelled all my shifts. I assured him that wasn’t the case and they were making me look bad because they didn’t want me there. A few staff members have issues with me at that Friendship location because a patient was coding and unconscious and didn’t help (I was on the phone on the other side of the facility transferring him out). I run to the patient when I saw what was going on and see that all the staff were just standing there not helping my LVN while she’s out of breathe doing compressions on an unconscious patient. I was furious. I told the staff that if someone is coding you need to help, call 911, or get the RN. I explained the situation to Johnny that since the incident, the the staff at friendship have treated me poorly and ignoring me (one of the female staff yelled at me for no reason literally to the point where I was crying). Johnny said he can’t schedule me until they find more evidence. Following up a couple weeks later he said there was no photo or video evidence but they still can’t schedule me. They did not put my concerns into consideration. They did not stick up for their nurse nor care to hear what I had to say.
Not to mention a few other times GoRn has miscommunications with their staff I.e. Johnny told me I was supposed to take 2 lunches for a specific work shift that I had already worked. He insisted he did but he never did. So I ended up working an extra 30 mins.
I’m sorry to say they are the worst company I’ve ever worked for. I’ve never felt so disrespected by a company.
