About
Lead a group ride? This is your app.
Post your ride with a time, meeting point, route file, and a photo. Share the link anywhere: group chat, Instagram, a flyer on a telephone pole.
When it's time to roll, hit Broadcast. Your live position gets shared to anyone with the link, who can see you move on a map.
Followers don't need an app, or to sign up with an account. They just open your link and see where you are. If they're running late, they catch up. If they're deciding whether to come out, they can see the ride happening in real time.
Send broadcast messages to everyone following along. "Stopping at the fountain." "Stuck behind a train, let's party" "We're at the halfway point." Your followers see them instantly.
That's it. One app for the person at the front. A web link for everyone else.
Go There (or Got Here, lets fight about it) was built for community ride leaders in Philadelphia and everywhere. People leading Wednesday Night Rides, full moon rides, bike trains, and party rides. It's simple on purpose. No social features, no fitness tracking, no leaderboards.
Bonus thing: Rides are published to the Neighborhood Commons, an open dataset of community events, so other apps and tools can help people find things to do in the city.
