It doesn't get better, nor simpler, than this app.

I wrote a critical review in September 2025 after a bad update. I am happy to share that the app has been fixed and works. Also the interface is more friendly and intuitive. Thanks! Back to being my simple goal tracker. In the meantime, I tried others, this is simply better the several I tried and paid for.

Wish you could enter an "0" instead of leaving it blank
I really like this app, but I hate that you cannot enter an "0" in the box, you just have to leave it blank. I track a lot of behaviors, activities and goals and the way it is set up now I have to have two listings for every goal, e.g. "Exercised", "Didn't Exercise" in order to have something to check off. I check off different activities at different times of the day or even the next day and I want to be definitive and make sure I just didn't forget to check something off.
Not doing your goal for 3 days or a week or a month is a streak as well and having to enter an "0" instead of merely leaving it blank seems to me more motivating and definitive than just leaving the box blank.
I also would like to be able to re-set and start anew if I wanted to without having to re-enter everything.
I wrote the developer a year ago and he said he would make these options available or would consider doing so, but never did. I wish he would give the user that flexibility and not have it be dictated by the way the app is set up.
Other than the issues I have listed above, I think this is the best streaks app, but I have to give it only a 1 star because I think consumers mostly only pay attention to the 1 and 5 star reviews and I want this long review read. I would gladly give this a 5 star review otherwise and plan to if changes are made.

Rubbish
New version. Slightly ‘colourful’ but lost all the functionality. You have to restart your phone to properly update your tick ‘X’ in the right place.
Few weeks in, and developer doesn’t look bothered to do something about it.
If you don’t know how to do it, then please, bring back the old one!

TERRIBLE UPDATE. Slow slow slow slow slow. Takes forever just to switch goal calendars, and forever more to add an ‘x’ for the day. No more continuous calendar scroll, and takes forever to switch months - like 5+ seconds at least. Tons of wasted space below the (now

Broken App
It was a great app until this recent update. It is so slow now. 20 second delay just to scroll a little. Another 20 second delay for every screen selection. No longer usable. Please fix.
Latest update it stopped working and I lost nearly a decade of history
I really liked this app and found it easy to use but the latest version wasn’t working on my phone so I reinstalled it but now it’s refusing to download my historical date which goes back over a decade.
I paid for the full version of the app when I originally downloaded it but now if I try to start over with all new goals (and no history) it will only allow me to have one goal and is asking me to pay more money to add additional goals because it says I’m now using the free version even though I’ve paid for the full version in the past.
I’m really bummed about this because I was enjoying this app and using it almost daily.
I will amend this review if someone from the company reaches out to me and is able to help me with my issues.

I've used this app for ten years because it does exactly what I need it to do. It's simple and easy.
The past update caused a few glitches but, after reaching out to the developer and voicing my concerns, he fixed everything!

What Happened?!
Had the app for years and loved the simplicity, the latest update crashed the app so only a blank screen would open then crash. After 2 weeks of waiting to see if they would fix the bug, I deleted the app and reinstalled. And here are the problems…1)the new install requires a subscription! - I already paid for the app 2) all my years of goal tracking is gone.

Stay Away! Last Update Erased Everything
Used to be a great app for years. This update lost all my years of data and runs so slow to be unusable. I kept everything updated. DELETE
Blank screen
I’ve been using goal streaks for years to track all of my goals and habits for the past three days all I see is a blank screen! Where are my streaks?! I use these to stay on task & motivated.
What a loss…
Had the app for over 10 years and the screen went blank the other day. Nothing would work to fix it so I deleted it to re-add it back. Lost everything. And it was paid and be I’m being told that I only have the free version. I had some pretty extensive streaks that were lost. How does something like this even happen?

Loved this app for YEARS! But I truly hate the update. Will be deleting unless they can get it solved quickly
Updated review
Unfortunately the iOS fixes came after I reloaded and repurchased the app under a different email. It opens now and the goals work, but obviously my old data does not appear in the new account. Oh well! One feature on my wish list: the ability to reorder tasks in the list view.

Latest App Update on Aug 26, 2025 broke the app…empty Black Screen
The app update on Aug 26, 2025 while running iOS 18.6.x broke the app. App wont load. It just starts up and is an empty completely black screen.
Unfortunately the Developer does jot provide any way to submit this info or support ticket.
I did love this app. It was simple , efficient, and effective.

What happened?
Within last week, Goal Streaks went from highly reliability and functional to broken. I’ve been using for 10+ years. What happened?
Recent Update is TERRIBLE!!
Wow, please undo this new update! I hate it! Not only does it make what was a very simple idea (all I wanted or needed) weirdly complicated and ugly looking but it also just doesn’t work! Every time I open the app, it glitches, I can’t scroll, I can’t click on anything, everything takes way too long a which means I’ll probably stop using it. Whose idea was this???

Hi, I'm sorry about the poor performance of the update. I felt the app needed an update as it was looking decidedly dated on iOS 26, and many people were rightly demanding features such as syncing. However, I didn't spend enough time optimising the streak calculations and it makes the app really sluggish, especially for people with long histories (which of course are the most important users). I do have a plan for resolving this issue but it'll take a week or two to get right.
Nonfunctional as of last update
I’ve had this app for years, and now I’ve lost all my data as there is just a white screen upon opening the app. I hope they can fix it and restore all the saved information. I’m crushed to have put my faith in this as a tracker to have this happen!

Please try upgrading to the latest version (2025.2). Once the app launches, if your goals aren't visible, tap the Settings icon in the top-left corner and then tap "Import historical data".
