What's New in Goaldyn

1.1

October 3, 2026

Your calendar and your tasks now share one page. Add events with a tap, see the calendars already on your iPhone, and control a focus session from the Dynamic Island. Here is everything in 1.1. A calendar you can plan in • Tap an empty slot and a new event opens with its start and end already filled in. Prefer a task? Use the Event | Task switch at the top. • Events have all-day, a location, a link, alerts, repeat, and notes. • Day, 3 Day, and Week are now a true time grid. Events are as tall as they are long, overlapping events sit side by side, all-day events get their own row, and a line marks the current time. • Swipe left or right to move between days and weeks. • Touch and hold an event to lift it, then drag it to another time or another day. Drag the handle on its bottom edge to make it longer or shorter. Moves snap to 15 minutes. • Touch and hold a day in Month to add an event on that day. • Set your default event length and default alert in Settings > Calendar. • Delete one day of a repeating event and only that day goes. With sync on, that day leaves your calendar too. Sync with the calendar you choose • Turn on Sync with your calendar in Settings > Calendar and pick where your events go. Your Goaldyn events appear in that calendar, and changes you make in the Calendar app come back. • Include tasks with a time, or keep it to events only. • Pick a calendar already on your iPhone, or have Goaldyn make a new one named Goaldyn. • Goaldyn uses the calendar accounts already on your iPhone (iCloud and others). It never signs in to them. • If you already had sync on, it keeps working. • Remove Goaldyn events from calendar takes them out again and turns sync off. Everything stays in Goaldyn. Your other calendars, inside Goaldyn • Events from the calendars on your iPhone now appear in the Calendar tab and in Today's schedule, each in its calendar's color. Tap Allow on the Calendar tab to turn this on. If Goaldyn already has calendar access, they appear right away. • They are read-only here. Tap one for its details, or open it in the Calendar app. • For a one-time event of your own, Add to Goaldyn makes it a Goaldyn event that stays in step with your calendar. • Turn this off, or choose which calendars appear, in Settings > Calendar. Alerts that ring once • Goaldyn delivers its own reminders. The events it adds to your calendar carry no alarms of their own, so you are not alerted twice. Focus • Pause, resume, or cancel a session from the Dynamic Island and the Lock Screen. Cancel ends the session without logging it and clears the island right away. • Focus statistics for the last 7, 30, or 90 days. • Extend a session after time is up and the extra minutes join that session instead of starting a new one. • One timer for the whole app: start it from Today or from Focus and it is the same session, still there when you come back. Today • The Focus card shows a running session, and its button opens the timer. • Focus minutes start fresh at midnight. • The schedule shows events that span several days or run past midnight. • A habit check-in notification and the Today widget both open the Today tab. Fixes • Fixed a crash when opening the app from a notification while it was in the background. • Many smaller fixes throughout. Thanks for planning with Goaldyn.
