It is hard to learn how to save game stats but once you do it is nice to be able to track the stats on your phone

Suboptimal

App only does basics of computing a save %. It does not allow for tracking minutes per game played and thus does not compute GAA.

How do I record a save or goal in Goalie Scout?

Simply tap the 'Save' button to record a save and the 'Goal' button to record a goal. If you make a mistake, you can tap the corresponding minus button to correct it. The app automatically calculates your save percentage.

Can I manage multiple goalies in Goalie Scout?

Yes, you can add new goalies by entering their name, team, and jersey number. You can also delete goalies by swiping across their name in the 'Manage Goalies' section.

How can I view a goalie's lifetime statistics?

To view lifetime stats, go to the 'Manage Goalies' page, tap on the goalie's name, and you will see their Save Percentage, Winning Percentage, Goals Against Average, and more.

Does Goalie Scout prevent my iPhone from sleeping during a game?

Yes, Goalie Scout features a 'Live' switch at the bottom of the screen. Toggling this switch on will prevent your iPhone from going to sleep while you are actively recording a game.

Can I share my game stats with others using Goalie Scout?

Yes, after saving a game, you have options to share your game stats on Twitter, email them to anyone, or save them directly within the app.

What information is needed when saving a game in Goalie Scout?

When saving a game, you need to enter the opponent's name, the time the goalie was on the ice (default is 60 minutes), and the number of goals your team scored. The opponent's score is pre-filled.
