GoalieGetter

GoalieGetter matches recreational ice-hockey teams with substitute goaltenders on short notice. FOR CAPTAINS Post a game that needs a goalie. Choose the rink, the start time, the skill level, and how the goaltender will be paid (cash, credit card, or other). Goaltenders nearby whose profiles fit the game are notified right away, and the first to claim gets the spot. If that goaltender backs out, the waitlist is offered the spot automatically, in order. Message your goaltender in the game's own chat. The game settles on its own 24 hours after it starts, and if something went wrong you can report it from the game. FOR GOALTENDERS Tell us your skill level, your home ZIP code, how far you will travel, and which days you play. When a game you fit is posted, you are notified by push, email, or text message, whichever you turn on. Claim it with one tap, or join the waitlist and receive the next opening in order. Check in when you arrive at the rink, coordinate in chat, and, when captains choose to pay the goaltender with credit card, get paid to your own account through our payment partner. WHAT GOALIEGETTER IS A matching service. We connect the two sides, deliver the notifications, and keep the record of every game. Payment for a game is an agreement between the captain and the goaltender, and we help facilitate payment when the captain chooses to pay by card. HIGHLIGHTS • Fast notifications to the goaltenders who fit the game • First-come, first-served claims with an ordered waitlist • Automatic offers to the waitlist when a goaltender backs out • A private chat for each matched game, with block and report controls • One-tap check-in when you arrive at the rink • Cash, card, or other payment, agreed before the game • Always free for goaltenders; currently free for captains GoalieGetter is for adults 18 and older.
