This app sucks
You could accept a game as a goalie and be at the rink getting dressed and they could cancel needing a goalie and there’s no compensation to the goalie for the drive or going to the rink. They have a cancel anytime policy and the only one who gets penalized if they cancel is the goalie.

Boys club
This used to be a great app but it seems to just be a boys club. Never get chosen for games no matter how quick I respond or what skill level. The one time I was chosen in the last year the game was “ canceled” and relaunched and given to someone else.
I don’t recommend this app to anyone at this point. It’s extremely disappointing because this app is the only one around and most people never get a fair chance.

Owner keeps the money and doesn’t pay you
What a terrible app, mainly because the app advertises paid games and collects money from people looking for goalies but doesn’t pass that money along to the goalies.
Too difficult to get games
Not worth it if you’re signing up as a goalie. Not possible to get games. It’s been 4 months since I was last able to get a game through goalie up. It’s due to so few games and so many goalies.

Had a goalie come last minute which was great! The app needs a little more love and tweaking.

Convenient app . Had goalies show up for both games . That being said , asked for A+ goalies and got D- quality . Shouldn’t have a rating system for goalies based off of nothing . Won’t use again .
Distance settings don’t stick
As a goalie, I set the distance willing to travel to less than 10 km, but the app still shows me arenas that are 30 km away??
Rating system is flawed
Used this service 3 times and got hosed each time. The first time asked for a B+ goalie and got a 50 year old who couldn’t keep up. Second time the guy canceled an hour before the game. Third time I asked for an A goalie and got another dud. Ok if you need a body, but it’s anyone’s guess what you get despite the fact you can choose the rank you need. Rick from Red Deer would agree with this assessment.

A game pops up, you click on interested, and nothing happens. What’s the point of this if it doesn’t give you priority and give you the game right away???!!!!!!

Like the idea, but I’m getting notifications from Ontario to BC! Settings are only up to 20km away...
