The old app that worked, worked. Why upgrade to this garbage!?
Not much of a difference from the old app
Still unable to use find a player to find games or players
They have added a few things we didn’t expect but did not fix the issues with the old app completely
Awful
As clunky as the old one
However countless new issues which show a severe lack of user testing prior to launch:
Frequently asking to share location information regardless of it being answered accept/deny.
Profile photo option which does not save when you click onto another screen so is absolutely useless.
Paying takes so many more steps than the old version. Surely having a login should quickly learn which team or booking you are frequently playing in and remember this for next time.
App screens appear as though they haven't been coded properly as clear texture issues and blur.
Could be made so much better with a little bit of effort, as a rule of thumb innovation should remove problems or steps, not create them.

Regarding the payment steps, we've a few extra steps, but a few new features - choosing your pitch which was never possible before, and any items required for your game!

Hi Leo, It looks like we didnt get a primary club set for you/chosen. If you restart your app, you should be forced to select one.

Garbage
More clicks that previously to pay your share.
Payment taken twice, after my first attempt did not yield a “Transaction complete” screen or email, didn’t show up in the “Order history” page, and was delayed showing up on my banking record. When it all finally updated, the orders show up as Glasgow West in the “Bookings” history — hundreds of miles from where I live and play, though presumably it’s Goals HQ.
Feedback/Bugs/Enquiry form does not submit anything. If I type anything at all, it flashes a “Loading…” graphic briefly but then does not proceed.
A bunch of other features that I’m sure very few customers asked for or would ever care about, add clutter. Some places are marked as “Coming Soon”.
Personally, no problems with the old app, and I can’t speak about features that I haven’t used on this new one. App is just pretty dire and doesn’t appear to have been tested very well before launch.
There’s a terminal at my local Goals now where people can pay there, sort of like a self-checkout there, and I know other people to still pay at the desk. That’s a testament to the developers’ poor work here.

Just as bad as the old app
Checking fixtures is clunky and often won’t allow you to see fixtures from leagues below the top league.
League defaults to an old location every time despite having updated this on numerous occasions.
Payment split option only divides the amount due not the total amount so is misleading.
And now it says Successfully Signed In and stays on the login page meaning Incant even get in the app

If you thought the last app was bad wait until you try this new one.
2. Pay my share options doesn’t add up, just splits the remaining to be paid. Instead of giving you a 10th of the total.
3. Nothings easy to find. Like looking for sunglasses after a car crash. It’s there you’ve got to dig about and find it.

Needs tested properly
Also the view doesn’t render properly when the KO times are shown on - the minutes are below the hours and it just looks messy.
Proper testing would prevent such obvious mistakes.
