Goaty - The new way of learning golf.
After 20 years of golf lessons and daily work on my golf swing to get to a 12 handicap, I thought I would wait a good few months of using Rotary swing’s Goaty app to give an honest and clear review, as I know nothing happens quickly when making changes and wow, I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Goaty has rebuilt my swing from the ground up, looking at what bits I need to change first and queues to make these changes happen, if you don’t get the way Goaty explains it, you can ask for another description and all I can say is, it’s like having a golf pro with you 24/7.
If you all of a sudden have a click, get the swing change Goaty is asking and showing you how to do, you can chat with goaty and talk about the moving parts to try to understand the next thing to work on.
It literally feels like you’re talking to a human, with the bonus that Goaty looks at thousands of timing points that a human eye can’t see.
No need for one on one golf lessons anymore, just set up your phone, video your swing and Goaty is going to let you know what needs to change first.
The proof is in the pudding, two weeks ago I shot one over on the back 9 and this week the same on the front 9, my golf has never been better, and I can honestly say I now understand how the body is supposed to move.

Goaty Review
I’ve been using Goaty since it was first announced. I think it is a great tool and has helped me quite a bit. Chuck continues to improve the product and I appreciate that. The early days were sometimes frustrating in not being able to translate what Goaty was asking me to do and how to make the change. This has improved much and ghosting is the latest that is helping me visually see the changes I need to make. I believe this AI product will continue to improve. Keep up the great work Chuck!!

Great technology, attach smart phone to a tripod and your golf coach is ready.
You are able to check setup position, face-on swing, down-the-line swing.
Feedback is visual and written. Tool is constantly evolving-so there have been growing pains.
But I have hit the farthest balls of my life for all clubs (age 57).
It’s extremely helpful in identifying problems; requires diligent work to improve. But there’s no doubt for me that this tool can greatly improve your swing!

I have been a member of Rotary Swing Golf for years. The video content on the site is first rate. Chuck is a student of the golf swing. He has not only dedicated his career to analyzing the swings of the best players in the world, but he is obsessed with ways of helping us hacks learn to improve our swings from how the GOATs swing. Goaty is the result of the passion Chuck has to help everyone improve. I highly recommend the Ap. And for what it is worth in your decision to give it a shot I am a 12 index who just turned 61 who pre-Ap hit my nine iron 140 yards. Using what the Ap has taught me about my swing I just hit a 167 yard nine iron at a simulator and hour ago….

Incredible
Holistic AI based golf instruction backed by a solid model and many instructional videos. No more one off swing bandaids. The AI system (goaty) measures you swing and shows you exactly where you stand against measured parameters. There is nothing like this. There is also community access where you can also benefit from others experiences. Also incredible support from the developers. Start working with real data based instruction. You will be amazed.

It is still a work in progress but with the latest updates with the ghost it really helped me see my swing differently and the cues help to better my swing. The cues Can be confusing sometimes but you can talk the AI and ask questions to figure it out and goaty help with rephrasing
Goaty AI Golf Coach
The app has been very helpful in helping me correct my sing mechanics. I played a lot of golf in my 20 and 30's but the I had to take a 35 year break. I retired at age 70 and started playing again. All my old muscle memory I used for my 35 year old body did not work in my 70 year old body. The app really helped me re-learn a more efficient effortless golf swing . I have only been using it for 6 months and have seen big improvements in my swing. It's like having a personal coach with me whenever I practice.

Absolutely revolutionary
Fixing a golf swing is hard but this is the best tool I have experienced. It analyzes every frame of 120 fps video and picks up more than any teacher could. The static swing analyzer provides root case feedback and a learning plan. The live training provides realtime feedback and coaching with a ghost image showing correct positions. Chat engine can discuss your swing and answer the most detailed questions. I’ve participated since the beta release and this just keeps getting better.

Game changer
I’ve been using the Goaty app consistently and have really been impressed with how often the software and features have been updated. It keeps getting better and better. The coaching cues with the swing fundamentals have been a tremendous help. I can do a live lesson anytime, anywhere as often as I like when it fits my schedule. I would have spent thousands in golf lessons compared to the very minimal monthly subscription I pay with Goaty.
And the results? I officially reached 0.0 handicap last week after floating between 1-3 for the past year. Posted my best career round last week with a 67, 16/18 GIR, 11/14 FIR and 7 birdies. I give a lot of credit to the coaching I have received with Goaty AI.

Power leak
Goaty helped me to find a significant power leak i was struggling with and now im back hitting yardages that i had lost for a full season

Over the past 6 years I've invested some money and a lot of time working on my golf game w instruction. The prior three online instructors had no real improvement. Goaty has been completely different. Noticeable improvement and increased confidence when I play.

App continues to improve at a rapid pace
The new Down the Line view and Ghost features along with continuous improvements to the coaching language are really moving this app forward. The support is incredible! They respond almost immediately and fixes are released at lightning speed. There’s an amazing community of users sharing ideas and videos of how they were able to improve their swings. My only complaint is the app uses so much processing power my iPhone 15 Pro heats up after 5-7 swings and has to reduce the camera fps to avoid damaging the phone. The good news is the app does this for you automatically.

Easy to use. Order camera tripod online under $20. Available anytime any place. Immediate feedback that is firm and consistent. Best part is follow up emails recap areas that need improvement with videos that show how to change your swing. I’m trying to change a golf swing of 60 years and it’s not easy but I’m making good progress and it’s shows in my course play. It’s working for me!

Best App for golf ever
I have been using Rotary swing for years and now they have come out with this app. It is amazing the amount of info and the help you get practicing and analyzing your swing with this. A great tool since you can do it anytime over and over. They are constantly improving the app daily. A real game changer. Has helped me immensely.

Avoid this app
Very clearly a hastily-built AI app: buggy, non-intuitive, dispenses dense paragraphs of advice without any thought toward usability.

Thanks for the feedback. The dense paragraphs are something that was just updated this week so it is much cleaner and easier to read than ever before. Also note that you can speak with GOATY anytime instead of having to read the text.
Really Awesome
I’ve been a member of Rotary Swing for a couple years, and GOATY really has helped to tie it all together. Knowing if I am on track after every swing is invaluable. It’s just a better way of improving at golf than anything else I have found.
