Good wisdom — too expensive—appreciate the app not sharing personal info
While I enjoy the weekly devotion, this app is too expensive to purchase. I wish the author the best as her devotions are ok. I believe she would reach more people if she charged less. A one-time rate of $10 +/- seems more in line with other apps. Update: I am deleting this app.

Why can’t I save these?
I want to sometimes go back a listen to the day before, but can’t.

The app is designed to look to the future and not the past. If you have a subscription, you can use the "share" function to save the list of promises. Also, some customers have used "screen record" to record the daily messages and save them.

Developers I Understand That you/Others Should Be Paid
I’m very Understanding And I Also Try T Look At Situations All Situations From Diffrent Angles,points of veins,and All So I would Feel Good About what I’ve done ,What I’m going to do And So on.So Woth That Said I DonT Know How A PERSON That Believe In ChRIST could charge so high and i know you’ve/or you all Put time and effort and so on so yeah it’s only right to be paid but so high when it’s surprise to be for believers God is free and honest and this app should be reasonable for so many reasons and how could it not be a set price but since it so high you need to come up with some really meaningful IMFORMTION and CONTENT

Needs more options
I would like this app more if you could opt to read it and not listen each day. Also I feel that if they could list the Bible chapter and verse reference because I wanted to look up what she was reading and read it in different versions.

So Disappointed
I signed up for your subscription and was so happy with it until a couple of months ago. It was a part of my regular daily quiet time and meditation... and I didn’t miss a day. I was ready to be a subscriber for life because you offered a service that no other app offered anywhere. You gave three great anecdotes and simple lessons that you reinforced through three scripture verses. I kept my pen out, my Bible open and I wrote down every word. Then I would go back into the Bible and use your Scripture as a jump start for a daily devotional.
Then all of a sudden you stopped using Scripture verses and now you are just like every other app that I could get for free... so why pay? I sadly cancelled my subscription. Your use of scripture is currently hit or miss and it’s too bad, because you actually had a niche.
What you were doing filled a void that is difficult for just anyone to fill. I actually thought of creating an app myself. But realized that the person has to a) know their Bible exceptionally well; b) they must have a repoire with their community; c) they must understand life application and Biblical principles; d) they must know how to keep the lessons simple, yet still be able to teach the Scriptural guideposts; and e) most importantly, they must be courageous enough to actually use a Scripture verse in each of their meditations rather than just have pat suggestions based on their own personal opinions or ideas (there’s no standard - you’re just telling me what you think I should do... a billion other people have that app... and it’s free). You actually filled a void - which is really hard to do in this day and age... and you were good at it!
You have major talent and gift and yet, for some reason... you’re choosing to withhold them from your community.
You were given a platform... and started off giving us three scriptures. You were able to teach us, to train, and to guide us... in a 5-15 minute devotional. That’s talent! Yet you’re choosing to bury your talents. That’s some gifts you’ve been given, yet you’re withholding them.
Withholding gifts is stinginess. Don’t be stingy. Share your God-given gift. There’s a community. You found a niche. Be courageous.
When you’re ready to get back to doing what you do best, let me know and I’ll reinstate my subscription.
But this watered down version of your vision is not workin’ for me. I managed to finish 2 full journals and then... you just stopped! If you decide to start again, or create another app that does what you were doing — I’ll be right there ready to sign up with eagerness.
This is one of the longest reviews I’ve ever written. But, I felt it was important because you’re app was actually helping me keep a stronger relationship with God. I will feel the void without it. I will miss your three Scriptures and your guidance.
The only criticism that I did have was your constant use of the term “Dear One”... it was distracting. But everything else was spot on and I hope you get back to doing the three scripture guidance. If not, hopefully, someone else from Oceanhouse Media can fill that niche. There is a community out there willing to pay for that service.

Paying for a voice?
I’m not good at giving my money away just to hear a voice! Im like lady sunshine, I’d rather pay a set amount a year or one time then to pay hundreds of dollars. God is free and shouldn’t be a gimmick to get money 🤬. I was going to purchase until I saw the entrapment of staying in the subscription!! No thanks.

I don’t like that it’s a subscription service. I don’t think it would be easy to unsubscribe if I didn’t like it, or stopped being able to afford it. It doesn’t explain in detail how to do so. I would rather pay $10 one time (or another set price, like $30) rather than hundreds of dollars over the years.
Edit: And even if it were ‘easy’ to cancel from my mobile phone, which the response to this review did not explain, I would still consider it a rip-off to charge hundreds of dollars over the years when it could be one set price. And the app focuses so much on Doreen’s voice. I’d rather focus on Christ more than a particular person.

I love this app but...
I love Doreen, and this is a great app idea, but I have only had this app for about a week and while I love and look forward to the 3 daily messages, I have had several of them repeat multiple times already. In only a week! For a paid subscription, this should not be the case. There should be far more messages and they should not be repeating already! I want fresh new content as promised! Please fix this ASAP and I will love the app and continue to subscribe.

Needing App help
I am getting constant reminders to renew my subscription regarding the app and it’s getting on my nerves and I don’t want to use or pay for it,but not sure how to stop it.And also not sure where to write to get this problem resolved so write it here in hopes to get help on the matter.
