Version 1.0.7 Update Image Expansion Issue
While it's nice to have the image update issue fixed, another bug I noticed was being unable to expand on the image view for a more detailed image. Because of that, I'm giving it two stars only. Earlier versions prior to the recent October updates had me give it five stars.

Wow. I’ve been looking for this for a while. I get tired of having to go to Mikes Weather Page all the time for data sets.
Born and raised in FLA, it’s been helpful to be able to see various radar slices. If you know what you’re looking for it’s all right here.
The GOES sats are global so it’s great to be able to see systems developing off of Africa or in the Pacific.

So glad I found this vs the terrible noaa app
I’m not sure that’s ones even available now but it felt like from 2005 lol. Anyway, this is perfect, easy, zooms well, animation is actually accurate and smooth and it’s very hires. A win!
Exactly what I wanted
Made accessing GOES images super easy. Would be cool to access image history as well.

As a professional weather nerd I had to comment on how elegant this app is! When aviationweather.gov updated their website they some how left off the ability to animate the satellite imagery. This app allows you to very quickly and easily get a glimpse of what is going on as recent as 10 minutes ago. I have zero complaints: ) and only one wish. I would love to be able to adjust the animation speed a touch, but this app is brilliant!!!

Thank you for such a useful app. Nice addition to my other weather apps. Good work!
A peak at what’s available in near real-time imagery
NOAA’s Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite imagery is so refreshing to see. The constellation of geostationary Earth observation imagers is what is really happening now, not months ago as Google Earth sees fit to refresh theirs.
I’m very happy to be able to see the latest snapshot as well as the recent history, shareable as GIFs. Different zones, mainly of the North American continent and surrounding ocean along with coverage of the major ocean routes for cyclonic activity are very welcome to see.
A wish list would include infrared for cloud penetration and temperatures, CO2 content, etc.. Ultimately, in an integrated, easily navigable, zoom in view. I realize that this will require a good deal of optical topographical manipulation and downloads with real-time updating will be a major effort and sounds like a remake of Google Earth but the timeliness of this imagery and its lack of the overload of generating pretty yet over-processed old data will make it stand apart.

Thank you so much for the feedback. This is one of my first published apps so it's super great to get your input! I was planning to add the other bands in as well and in this latest update I included most of the other bands that NOAA provides. Hopefully these other bands/views help with identifying weather and other patterns more easily. Right now, you can pinch to zoom into the imagery, but I could also see the value in an ortho-rectified view where the imagery is actually shown on a map. This is possible and I might implement it in the future. I mainly just wanted a quick and easy way to look at and share the imagery NOAA provides and I'm so glad to hear that you appreciate what I've built!
