We've upgraded our location engine for a smoother, more reliable ride. Live tracking now stays accurate even when your screen is locked or the app is in the background. Your position no longer drops out during long shifts, passengers see you in real time, on the road. Lower battery use thanks to smarter motion-based tracking. The car icon now points exactly the same way on the driver and passenger maps. Passengers calling through GoFast now trigger an instant notification on your phone, even when locked. Map, buttons, and status bar auto-switch to dark mode at sunset. The app keeps you online seamlessly if you close and reopen it. Many speed and stability improvements behind the scenes. Nearby taxis now gently fade in and out as drivers come online or go offline, instead of popping on and off the map.
