Great app for cricket coaches

Like many grassroots volunteer cricket coaches, I want to help my players to develop and improve, all while enjoying the game of course - but this is not my full time job. And they’re not professional. So I only have access to the whole squad for two hours per week during training. And there are 15 players in the squad.

So, providing detailed, personal and bespoke feedback during training sessions is tricky, especially as, like most teams, the players are all different and all have different needs. The GoFathom app has helped me to overcome that.

I send individual and team feedback. And share videos for recommended drills. I also use it to send training plans ahead of sessions and to share post-match thoughts.

I have been very impressed so far.

It’s easy to use. Its fast. It’s safe. And the developers are constantly coming up with new ways of speeding up and improving the feedback process.

I would definitely recommend it to other coaches, and not just for cricket. I can see how it would work for lots of sports.
