This app is garbage and has been for more than two years! How can you guys not get this working?? I can’t even register my boss’ new phone and we just spent over 200k on the latest Gogo system? You should be embarrassed!

It doesn’t work, tried connecting it white the WiFi off and on the ground it just never works!

This works great on our jets! Phone calls are clear and easy. You MUST install and activate on the ground! It won’t work airborne unless you do. We’ve encountered some dead spots in New Mexico near military bases but overall coverage has been excellent.
Same problem can’t make app work
iPhone 10 and 8 won’t fully connect. Limited service for outgoing calls is supposed to work. Well...
Doesn’t. This seems to be par for the course for this phone and data system. We have had nothing but lousy service and intermittent connections with the past three Learjets. I’m going to spec the next aircraft with Iridium. Garmin needs to get in the phone business.

Worst app in the store?
They are encouraging their competitors with this app. If not for that redeeming fact, Apple should consider pulling it.
Corporate Jet Operator
Repeated attempts yet again to get this system & app to work-together onboard our company aircraft; all to no-avail.
Registration of the app on the ground never fully works. It takes repeated attempts, following all directions exactly, and then only getting a “limited service” registration. The note on the app then says “re-register again to get full service,” then fails, and you must start the whole failure-prone process once again. Multiple employees with iPhone 7s, 8s and 10s all having same issue.
Considering my company spent more-than $180,000 installing the underlying system that enables this app to function; this poorly-performing, mostly non-functioning app is something that the company should ashamed & embarrassed-of.
Please do something and deliver us an app that works correctly, and respects the significant 6-figure investment we made in your ATG-5000 system.

Does not work
I have tried and tried for two months to get this after work with both an iPhone 6 and iPhone 7.
Does not work on iPhone 7
I connect to the Gogo internet on the plane just fine with GoGo Dash, but Text and Talk always reports no connection and don’t work.
Don't waste your time
The old app worked much better..This app is a total failure. Go through the steps and won't connect to network. Time after time.
Messes up camera functionality...
After I installed this my camera lost the function to record video and also use slo-motion. It completely removed the options to use them. It also made the camera not operate in the normal picture taking mode, the screen just turned black like the shutter was closed... This app has potential but it needs a big update to address these issues. After you delete this app your camera returns to normal

Dumb
It takes you through these steps and then a screen pops up saying "registering you now this may take up to two minutes" and then it gives you a "we failed to connect you to our network" every time. Tried this 100 different ways on multiple phones and networks. Literally a waste of data

Horrible App
This app is absolutely ridiculous. I downloaded the app. Purchased the wifi on the plane and the app didn't work for text or call. DO NOT DOWNLOAD even though it is free. Waste of space on your phone! Developers need to do a better job.

Four flights over 35k feet. App never worked. Kept saying altitude too low in status.
No recommending
Nothing but messages failing to send both on iPhone and iPad for the past month. Worked great prior to this. No idea why it has stopped working. Can no longer recommend this app. I guess I'm getting what I paid for out of this- nothing. 🤔
Gogo no go
Tried using on iOS for the first time today. Setup my phone before flying but when it was tried/tested in flight I received failures on texts as well as the call feature would just flash the iPhone call screen and then revert back to the T&T screen. Could be me not sure. I'll report back what I find out in the coming days.
