Remote access should be within the app
Update Jan 2020* deopped to one star due to not only the notifications not working for almost two years, it not stopped working entirely. 6 years for a $250 purchase is nuts. Their offer was 15% of their new model if I sign up for a newsletter. Its still well over $200 to buy. New entire garage door openers have the same functionality for the same cost but include the actual opener as well. Never buy this brand again, just stick to the openers who are just as integrated into your smart home.
I purchased for remote off property function considering it's an app and it's connecting to my wifi and that's the whole point right? Well the app only works while on your home network.... To access remotely you lose functionality and you have to open the app, hit remote access and login to a web portal to see your status... This is crazy and this functionality should be part of the basic app. I don't need an app to do what my car or the garage door opener can already do. I want to see it after I left and I think I forgot to shut it without having to jump throw a "web portal"!!

Still working...... no issues. I wish they would support nest/HomeKit connectivity
iOS 10 upgrade to iPhone notifications not working
Upgraded iPhone and now notifications no longer work. Checked settings, all same as before. Please help. App works when opened just not pushing notifications.
Broke after ios 9
Gogo gate first generation dont work over wifi connection error after ios9.
Also not to forget dropcam isnt working since ages now. What a shady company wish I never bought there product.

Works Flawlessly
Had no issues installing (followed you tube videos). The device works as advertised. App boots up quickly and works great!
Great product
Product works excellent, one small detail during set up, door sensor needs to be a certain way, small thin red sticker on the side of it has to face the other sensor, which I had to go online to figure out, wasn't in the instruction. Other than that everything was as explained.
Truly awesome
Couldn't be more satisfied with the app and hardware. Installation was stupid easy although I think they probably could've gone with doing a wifi setup vs holding your phone up to the gogogate to program it. But once it's setup it works flawlessly.
Never works!
Utterly horrible! The app never, ever works. They are very responsive when you send them emails, but I feel like I have to constantly do that! Wish I could give it 1/10th of one star.
Excellent Product!
Not sure why other reviewers had issues. This worked for me right out of the box. If you read and follow the detailed instructions, it should work fine for you as well. This is a great product and makes a fine addition to my home automation suite. I can monitor and control both of my garage doors from anywhere. Remote Access function works great as well. Gave this 4 stars instead of 5 because I'd like to see the iOS app integrated into the IPhone Notification Center to provide alert messages like "Door 1 Open", etc, as a pop up message, even in the lock screen. Adding that feature would get the fifth star. Otherwise it is a great product and works very well.

Truly a waste of time
Hours upon hours of time wasted on this product. When it did work, it’s slow despot my extending my network to driveway. Many flaws.

Programs fine, sees the door sensors fine but good luck making it communicate with iPhone 5. DHCP or hard coded IP, tried different wireless networks, 3 hours later I give up.
