Not great

Thanks for checking it out and taking the time to leave feedback. This is still an early-release version, so we’re actively cleaning up venue data, improving Ames bar listings, and fixing anything that doesn’t feel accurate yet. As a small startup, it takes time to get all of the features and venue data working the way we want. The main purpose of this early release was to start working directly with bar owners so they can add their deals and events. That way, when users download the app, there’s more to see than just friends’ activity. As more bars add deals and events, the app should become more useful. We expect the Ames experience to improve over the next month as more bars are added and cleaned up. For venue categories, the app currently uses Google’s business classification as the starting point. So if a location is classified as a bar on Google, it may show as a bar in the app too — even if locals know that label isn’t quite right. We’re working on adding better local corrections so the app feels more accurate in real-world use. We appreciate you taking the time to leave feedback.
