Very fun!

Thank you so much for the kind words, we’re really glad the panning feels satisfying! A quick guide to your questions: Where treasures come from. In Treasures, tap a collection’s name to see which locations its items are found in. Then pan bags in one of those locations. Each location (California, Klondike, Siberia, Australia) has its own collections, so if a treasure isn’t showing up, you’re probably panning in a different location. Better bags (leather pouch, iron-bound chest) guarantee a higher minimum rarity. What coins are for. Coins are the premium currency. You earn them from daily tasks and by turning in completed collections, and you can also buy them. Spend them on better bags and on unlocking new locations. Grams of gold are your everyday wallet for bags and sieve upgrades. You’re right that the game should explain this better at the start, and we’ll work on making it clearer in a future update. Happy panning! ⛏️
Great idea, don’t understand coins vs grams of gold

Thanks, Kody1228 — and fair point, we should explain this better. The gold you pan IS the money. There's no "sell" step: tap the gold chip at the top of the main screen (or open the Shop), and you'll see the Sieve tab — every pan capacity and riffle upgrade is paid straight in grams of gold. The same tab also sells extra canvas bags for grams. Coins are the separate premium currency for pouches, chests and new locations; gold never converts to coins on purpose, so nobody can buy their way past the panning. Happy panning! — Gold Rush team
Love the game but needs some changes

Thanks, Chris — really glad you like the game! The 30+ minute bag timer is meant for the long run, but we hear you: the first day shouldn't feel like a wall. Right now you can grab 3 extra bags a day by watching a short video from the main screen. We're looking at giving new players more bags early on. Thanks for taking the time to write this.
