No iCloud sync

Like the game, plays well on my iPhone 16+. My biggest gripe is the lack of iCloud sync so can't start a race on my phone and finish it on my iPad. Seems like that should be basic functionality in 2026. Would have given 4 stars if it were available.

An absolute treat

A great and absolutely my favorite mobile game. I got into Le Mans early this year and making my own little team, watching them race, improve, create better cars each season, slowly climbing the ladder, with a small mini game for tuning your car is just fun. The simplistic flat color 2D is lovely along side the weather effects and clouds. Now, if i had one small nitpick, i really wish there was a setting to turn off “unimportant” radio chatter. On PC im sure its no problem, but on a smaller screen the racers going “I CANT PASS LEVI MACH” along with “SIGH, IM GOING TO HAVE A BAD TRACK, SO SORRY EVERYONE” covers the circuit and its sometimes a nuisance. Otherwise its a 10/10 and i can’t recommend it to any racer fan enough.

Love this game no complaints at all

Definitely my favorite mobile game.

I have had Golden Lap on my PC for about a year and a half now and installed the iOS version a couple weeks ago. I liked it on pc but it was definitely more of a mobile game in the sense of simplicity so I have played a ton more on my phone waiting in the airport. It’s worth paying for the full game for sure and it’s a fair price. Like I stated simplicity is awesome for newer F1 fans and I love the nod to the 70s F1 teams since copyright issues won’t let the real teams and drivers exist. My only grip is I wish there was more mid season things to do. I think that’s where it really lacks. I think being able to fire people and hire people mid season would be awesome. Other than that the game is fully worth it and I’m so glad it has reached iOS.

Very cool

Love the graphics and design. And a lot of fun, very entertaining

Great game

Great game with tons to do! Will the career mode be extended in the near future? Got to the end and was sad that I couldn’t continue building the team and car

Nice idea but not as good as MotorSport Manager

I played all the MotorSport Manager games. They were ahead of their time . Loved them and secretly wished they made a new one. GoldenLap is a nice attempt to recreate the MM style but it falls short.

I love this game, but it doesn’t sync saves between iPhone and iPad

I’ve played Golden Lap for awhile now, starting on PC and then installing it once it became available for iOS and iPadOS. My only gripe is that the save data from iOS isn’t available on my iPad, so if I wanted to continue my game on the larger screen I cannot. The game works well on iOS, however I wish they made some more UI changes to cope with the smaller screen. There are some bugs, such as some incorrectly formatted text on the last screen of the pre-season screen. If the data were to sync between iOS and iPadOS, I’d easily give this 4 stars if not 5…

A lot of fun.

Great concept, but why so many wet races?

a love letter to f1

Genuinely have been playing for days. Feels like someone watched me watch f1 and made a game just for me. I have one more: MORE. Just more content. I think it would be fun to have more in depth options as far as difficulty. I know there are going to be people who don’t watch f1 and need more hand holding and explanations but after a while of playing I also want more challenging game mechanics. Blue flags, black and white flags for track limits, yellow flag pit stops, driver input re:car development ect. Perhaps some of these exist and I haven’t played enough yet but regardless KEEP GOING. I love this game.

Simple, and thats golden

Really straight forward, good fun, satisfying game to unwind with

Game is bugged

No matter what I do, no drivers finish a race. It’s basically unplayable

Great game!

I love the game, very realistic, very fun. It feels like you’re running a team. A great game that you can easily get addicted too. My only issue, when the game was in preorder it said it was free with in game purchases only. But the second pre order ended and I got the game it switched up and now costing $5 to get the full game, that’s my only ick other than that’s great game!

Review with a suggestion

The game plays and feels very crisp, UI is well designed and strait forward. I played through one season on pape and enjoyed the experience of having to replace injured drivers and mange the overtaking. Bravo! One issue I’ve noticed is my car stats don’t carry over from season to season? This design seems counter intuitive as I pay for upgrades or a new part all together but just lose that investment while my team grows… making it almost impossible to work your way up from a mid ranked team to winning outside of countless repetition to reach competency limiting my desire to play more. Cheers!

Mid

Good game. But then after two races. Like genually. 2 races. It said I needed premium to continue. I pre ordered and waited forever. Just to find out it’s going to cost me 5 bucks to play more than two races. Mid

Minimalist?

I’m waiting it 4 despite deleting it because I can tell it’s a very in depth well made game and fans of formula one racing will loooove it.

But in no shape or form is it simple. You micro manage every single aspect of racing to the ninth degree.

I don’t want to play a qualifier for 15 minutes (real time is 30 minutes but it runs faster) and if I speed time up I’ll miss the cues to pit and send out….

This is a super realistic racing tycoon where the only thing minimalist is the graphics tbh, it’s a very technical very overwhelming game for those that just want a simple minimal game lol

Needs a Better Tutorial

The game explains the UI well but doesn't really give you any tips on strategy. For example, it gives you a button to tell your driver when to pit, but it doesn't give you any advice on when you should actually do that. The AI opponents all seem to first pit around the same time so there's obviously some strategy involved, but the entirety of my experience with racing strategy comes from the F1 movie, which isn't much help.

Great concept

Cool concept, wish to see modern cards/real drivers and cars would make it absolutely perfect !
