Surprisingly good for a mobile game
When I first went into this game, I honestly thought it was gonna be a cheap Undertale rip-off that coasted off the ‘Heart being your soul’ thing that Undertale made popular; but I was pleasantly surprised.
Making the fights take place in the overworld originally threw me off, but I began getting accustomed and even anticipating it for the next encounter! Though If I did have a critique for the battle system, It’d definitely be how weirdly slippery the character feels- It usual becomes problem when an enemy (or overworld hazard) requires precise movement. That leads me to my next point: The ads. Dying in this game is more infuriating than it should be; The ads making it so you’ll need to wait half-a-minute before being able to play really puts a hamper on the enjoyment and almost always makes me just stop playing for an indefinite period of time. I’d definitely tone down the ads every other death instead of every death.
However, despite me beating exclusively the first chapter, I’m already curious to see what else this game has to offer- Although some of the translations really make it hard to get fully invested in the story.
Overall though, This is really good for a mobile game- If this ever gets a remake, I’d defintely be willing to look into it.

This game is amazing, yet it seems so underrated I like that the boss fights are sort of hard because then I get an excuse to play the game longer

Yup, you can mercy the 2 pt bosses and it will open the good route
