Golden trails
This game is a lot of fun and good story line and art work is fantastic. My problem is after I play the game a few times it stops working. The voice doesn’t work, the sound effect stop working. I have to reboot my IPad for the game to work properly again. My IPad has been updated and I am wondering if the game is still compatible with my IPad?

Awesome game!
Fun as well as relaxing with no time limit on main game. No occult garbage or other inappropriate images etc that might be bad for kids if they are using your iPad and decide to try your game. Great sound track. Never get tired of it. So always keep it on my favorites game page on my iPad. Has mini games.

One of the best
I’ve never given a review, just stars and not very often. This game is hands down my favorite hidden object game ever. There are so many h.o. games that are simply objects splattered all over. There’s nothing hidden about them. This game is a great mix of kinda easy with a little hard. Not so hard it’s frustrating though. You collect coins and hints in a friendly, fun way and you can actually use what you collect. My only wish is for more, more, more. If other h.o. Games took a clue from this one, they’d be more successful!

I've played many other hidden object games, but few if any meet the fun of this one. The graphics are quite good. When another player plays a round , the hidden objects change. So you can play over and over. Money well spent
Frustrating
After playing three times, can't get past "square" even with full "check marks" on other four locations! Tried different areas in other attempts. Potential is good but there is a major problem!!! Added later: I guess the problem was I did not wave the tool over the correct site. Will now rate 4 stars!

Golden Trails
I have played many "find an item" games but this one is really one of my favs. It has so many extra rooms to explore and easy ways to accumulate hints.
Loved it until...
Got stuck in the boudoir of the saloon. Only one tool left to use, know where to use it, but it won't interact with the object. Totally stuck! Great game until this point.
Love this game
This is my third time play......trying to improve each time. Didn't know I had to listen to all of the sheriffs conversation in order to get a badge so I'm trying to do that now. Almost found all of the stolen items so I'm also trying to find all of those, I'll keep trying until I find all of them.
My Favorite Game!
I love this game, it is definitely my favorite. The storyline is fun and the graphics are great! I like that the hidden objects change each time you play. I never get tired of playing this game, I've played several times and enjoy it every time I play. I even enjoy the music, which is rare for many of the games. I appreciate that it doesn't have a dark or horror theme like other hidden object games. I long for and would love to see a sequel to this game; Golden Trails II: a new crime for Jack to solve. Thank you for all the hard work that went into making this such an enjoyable game! Great job! It is well worth the cost to purchase it.

Items are too random - it's a problem.
The problem with the game is that items are so random that you may not get the special items you need in order to further the game.
I've now went as far as I can with the game twice and both times I am not able to find the items necessary in the pictures to move to the next level.
I've purchased the game, which makes it even more frustrating.

Game freezes
My third time deleting and reloading this game, as it froze at the Austin level. There is no back button. Other than that, it's fun even if the hints are far between. I can't see the hints that only flicker. It has previously frozen at other levels and there's no way to continue on playing it. If not for that and the scarcity of hints I would have rated it 5 stars.

Going to the sound menu erased my entire game
I was just about to finish the game, I was on the last town and I decided to go to the main menu and sound options but just because I went to the main menu, it completely erased my entire game progress even when my profile name was STILL there. Now when I try to continue the game it wants to start from 0 ALL BECAUSE I went to the main menu? That is definitely a really bad glitch. I'm not happy that my entire game got erased JUST BECAUSE I went to the main menu. It was all gone in less than a second without me doing anything. The only thing I did was go to the main menu & click on the sound option and when I came back, MY ENTIRE PROGRESS was gone.
Other than that really bad glitch, the game is well made and I liked the music and graphics and voice narration. It's frustrating that my entire game progress got deleted in the blink of an eye without me doing anything besides going to the sound option in the main menu, my profile was still there even! It's very frustrating but the game itself is good.

Great fun
I was lucky enough to get for free. Its not too easy, but not so hard that you want to just quit. I like that it has a story line, helps make it more interestkng. I like that you can play unlimited. I also like the little extras, like finding sheriff badges in each scene.

I play object search games all the time and I love these games! You gather objects from one setting to use in others, there are secret objects hidden in boxes, drawers, great graphics, fun story lines and characters. It is a wonderful way to spend your downtime!
Top-notch fun!
All I can say about this outstanding game is that I sure am glad I saw it was offered for free yesterday AFTER my homework was done! Totally addicting, well-scripted, hidden objects like they should be! There is one 'glitch': in Episode 2, Location Basement; the barrel easy to see but every time I tapped on it, it never registered until the little dudes took a bunch of my points. This happened three separate times. Outside of this one annoying glitch, everything else went seamlessly. Lots of fun, great programming.

I really like this game!
This is an entertaining game. Lots to find, good graphics, no hangups. It provides several hours of entertainment without having to buy more "energy" or other gimmicks to bleed money out of you to play. For fans of Hidden Object games this is a good one.

Nothing so frustrating as completing a game and not being able to get to the bonus content, grrrr.
Aside from that, well done graphics and fun story line. Zoom would be nice for us older eyes. Would be nice to know just how many badges are hidden in each scene and be able to have one last chance to look for them before the scene "closes" after all objects are found. Nicely lit scenes, very little repetition of objects. InitialIy I looked at the instructions but didn't have any idea to search for stolen objects, that would have been nice to know before I played the game. The last thing is that the extra hidden, hidden items need a little more time before the highlighting of the object starts flashing. I would rather figure out on my own to use the knife to slice open a pillow before the pillow starts flashing at me. All said, good game, fun to play and value in terms of length of play. Definitely worth the money, give it a shot.
