Timer Messed Up
It is November and this stupid app is trying to tell me that golden hour sunset is 11:30 at night for the Pacific Northwest, lower 48. I don’t live in the Southern Hemisphere near Antarctica!
Not correct at all
When I put in my exact location it tells me sunrise GH is ending 3:22PM
Sunset ends at 0:22am
What?! I don't think so!
Deleted app.

Golden hour is when?
Says sunrise in South Carolina is at 11am? Say what?! It looks like this app has been abandoned by its developers which is a shame, because it’s simple and relatively easy to use. Unfortunately I’ll be looking for another app that ACTUALLY reflects when golden/blue hour is in my location.
Wrong time indicated
Something is wrong with this app on iPad. Does not indicate the right time.
Bad App
Terrible location services.....choose Lorena, TX USA from their list and it tells me Golden Hour starts at 12:43 pm and ends at 2:17 pm! Maybe on Mars, but here in good old Texas the sun is at high noob that time of day. App not ready for prime time.
It really understands Pittsburgh Weather.
This App is so great that it understood that Pittsburgh only gets about 20 minutes of Sunshine per day!! It suggested the morning Golden hour start at 12:08 PM - 12:48 PM. That’s so awesome! I am definitely planning my photography shoot around that!!
No State of Georgia
There was no state of Georgia to select. And even if I pinpointed my own location manually, it said golden hour was at 11:30am???
Terrible
Can't save location, poor design
Fast
With only one ad as soon as i downloaded Golden Hour, I was able to quickly establish my partner’s location and send him a screenshot of the best time for him to retake his photos.
I was worried i wasn't going to be able to since so many golden hour apps cost money but this one gave me everything i needed in two minutes.

Used to work great....not anymore
Ever since the update, the sunset and sunrise times are wrong (sunrise is not at 1:48am). I've tried deleting and reinstalling, same issue.
Sucks!
Big Time.
Inaccurate
I downloaded the app and tried to use it. For some reasons at sunset the golden hour starts about 30 minutes before sunset and ends with sunset. Tried to figure out if its something related with daylight saving but no adjustments for Malaysia were possible. As quickly as download its deleted for this reason.

This app isn't as intuitive as other golden hour apps. It doesn't detect your current location. You have to set it manually. It also doesn't store your location so you have to reset it every time you use it.
??Location??
When trying to choose location in "Select Location>Select Country>United States", there's "AOL" & "WebTV" but not the state of Georgia. App gives window of time around sunst & sunrise of your location. Would be nice to be able to edit the name of the location (current name by default is "Unavailable") in the "Bookmarks".

Very limited, not customizeable at all.
Great idea. Could be 5 star. I deleted immediately when I had no control over how to define magic hour. I have always used two hours after and before. This gives you a locked in 40 minutes. Maybe good for beginners but very unrealistic for commercial shoots. Nothing can be customized. Great maybe for students to get the concept. Far better to use a real tool like LightTrac . And video maker put their name on this? Btw the way the alarm timer should be automagically be linked to 30 minutes before the customizable default magic duration. To much useless time spent rolling the tumblers to alarm time.

A good start
The map doesn't have all the detail of Google or Apple maps, but then I doubt it would be used for navigation. The app appears to use the GPS correctly to locate you. The big problem is that if you are at a spot not near a point recognizable on their map, the location is labeled "unknown". There is no way of editing the point to give it a useable name. So several spots in the boonies would all be labeled "unknown". Not too handy.
As a nice addition, it would be great if you could set an alarm for a point to indicate that the golden hour was coming up.

Dgo
The map is absolutely terrible. Better get Google Maps or Bing in there with satellite option to make it usable. In the meantime, this app is deleted from my device...seeya.
Great and uncluttered.
Simple and too the point, much faster than other solutions. Thumbs up from me! :D
