With this update, GoldPriceOneMobile gains access to our new, revamped API. This includes an expansion of the available currencies. In addition to the existing option to display gold prices in U.S. dollars (USD), euros (EUR), British pounds (GBP), Swiss francs (CHF), and Japanese yen (JPY), additional standard gold trading currencies have been added. Specifically, these are: • Australian dollar (AUD) • Canadian dollar (CAD) • Chinese yuan (CNY) • Hong Kong dollar (HKD) • Indian rupee (INR) • Mexican peso (MXN) • Singapore dollar (SGD) • South African rand (ZAR) In addition, over 20 other currencies from major gold markets are available, calculated based on the exchange rate against the U.S. dollar and the gold price in USD: • UAE dirham (AED) • Saudi riyal (SAR) • Turkish lira (TRY) • Brazilian Real (BRL) • Argentine Peso (ARS) • Thai Baht (TBH) • and many more… The new currencies are available in the gold price view (including the alloy overview), the gold price/spread calculator, and the gold price alerts. The widget now supports the new currencies. The app now features a new settings section for currencies, where you can enable the desired currencies or disable those you don’t need. This helps maintain clarity even as more currencies are added. There are also other minor technical optimizations and visual improvements.
