Used to be dependable when I forget my rangefinder. I’m stand at the tee trying to get the distance, it points me the opposite direction. I had to shut off the eye to try to rotate. The old version was much better.
The ONLY app that lets you plan your round
I searched high and low for a gps app that allowed me to plan more than one landing zone. This is the only one - and it’s done in such a simple and elegant way.
This app allows you to plan your shots ahead of your round (or during your round). Say you’re looking at a par 5 and need to get there in 3. This app will allow you to plan your two fairway landing zones.
If you’re looking for all the other junk like booking rounds, competing with friends, keeping your score, this app is not for you. This is for real golfers who want to look at their phone as little as possible.

Returns to main page when searching for a course
Whenever I search for a course it reverts to the main page before I finish typing . I’m assuming it’s the new update it worked fine before
Preview golf course doesn't work
I play in a scramble tomorrow on a course I haven't played that is very hilly. I thought I could preview the course and the elevations etc. When I press on the golf course icon it only allows a couple letters in the search then comes back to my current location screen.
New interface is terrible.
The July, 2019 update made the app virtually useless. Please go back to the older version.

I have an actual rangefinder, but I still find myself using this app quite frequently (for the slope adjustments and when I can’t see the actual target)
Can’t make or receive calls
So what’s with this new update and when did this happen? I had this app before and my phone was fine. I opened it today and it was different. I pressed access camera and now my phone doesn’t make or receive calls.
Love the app! Great features.
Love the app as the title states! I especially enjoy the feature that enables you to calculate the drive distance. On holes with a forced carry, limited fairway, or dogleg right/left, I enjoy using this app to know how far I can hit the ball. That’s definitely a feature most range finders don’t have, unless you’re buying a brand new 2018 top of the line $500 range finder. I have a cheaper (but still effective) range finder, but still find myself using this app very frequently, even in courses i regularly play. Would recommend to anyone that doesn’t want to pay hundreds for a range finder!

Everything you need and nothing else
This app is simply perfect. It gives you everything you need with no extra clutter to get in the way. Easy to open and get a quick yardage without the need to load a course. Perfect for plotting out a hole or distances to a hazard. The sight lines function is genius, excellent for those blind shots on an unfamiliar course. I would happily pay for this app. No need for an expensive Garmin, this does everything you need.

Does the total number in regards to distance include the elevation number? Or do I add or subtract that number myself?

Use with caution
I couldn't find anywhere to turn off the slope function. Using a slope function during a competition round is 2 stroke penalty for first use and DQ for second or further use.

Using any type of GPS technology is a penalty. This app is only intended for recreational use. It can also prepare you during tournament practice rounds.
Update: cool little app
I had previously given an unfavourable review due to crashes - this has been fixed and it works very well and is actually quite slick. I don't think I would count on the yardage in this app during a serious round but the yardage estimates and drive calculator are fun!

Wow!! Even though this guy who created this is afraid of spiders and ketchup he creates great golf apps. Hope this app does well so I can get some of the 💰
Does not work
Though I have location services turned on for this app, the app keeps telling me to turn on location services. This happens repeatedly. Additionally, wanted to talk to the app developer but the only method to do that is Twitter. Unfortunately I am not on Twitter.
UPDATE: I closed out the app and reopened it. Fixed the issue.

This app will save you hundreds of dollars! $2 to have a range finder with a slope feature is a steal!

Honestly it's so helpful. It really helps get yardages that are tough to get with a normal rangefinder

Just got the latest update that fixes crash. The app works as described. I love it. Highly recommend.
