Started well, but since has fallen down.
This app showed great promise in the beginning. It had all the metrics I was looking for and the price seemed fair. But after my first two posted rounds it stopped working. It would take the input but the data was no longer uploaded to the server and I kept getting an error message.

Good system, a few flaws
The good:
1. Well priced.
2. Ease of use.
3. Reasonably fast app.
4. Good presentation of stats.
The bad:
1. Only able to keep track of four wedges (PW, GW, SW, LW). Some of us carry more.
2. Have to repeatedly input distance from the tee. Would be better if it remembered this as part of the course (just like it knows par for each hole). It could then be modified if tees are moved up or back on that specific day.
3. Does not keep track of driving distances, which obviously limits the ability to understand strokes gained from the tee. This is the most important flaw, in my view, and the reason I ultimately chose to go with a different app for my golf stat tracking.

Unbelievable app BUT what’s happened???
I’ve upgraded to platinum membership as the app is unreal and I absolutely love it but I’ve had issues with login all this week and I’m gutted. What’s happened?????
It worked ok - until I paid to upgrade.
Unfortunately I just paid for an annual membership and now the app freezes at the login screen.
Website Certificate Expired and App Down
I can’t log in via the app or the website yet I will be billed when my 30 day trial expires. The website certificate has been expired since Friday, Jan 26 and the app no longer loads. If this isn’t fixed then I need assurances that I won’t be billed!
Best app for ease of entry!
This is a great app for golfers looking to improve. I'm currently a low single digit index and an app like this can be very helpful to guide improvement. I've tried pretty much everything out there and this is the easiest one to enter the data with. That is usually the stumbling block with apps that provide you with PGA tour style data. I can wholeheartedly recommend this app and it provides a ton of good information. It's easy to use and that is the most important thing.
Since I have looked at so many apps, I also have my wish list for improvements! The key for improvement with this app will be on the back end. More granular stats in certain areas would be very helpful. One example is more detailed putting data - lumping together <6 feet is not very actionable since everyone should make their <2 foot putts and those putts make up the vast majority of putts in this distance. In order to improve the app it would be useful to know how you do on 3-5' putts vs 6-8' vs 9-12', 13-20' etc. the ranges are just too big at the shorter distances.
The second item that could be improved is to provide reference info. For example, if I make 75% of 3-5' putts, it would be helpful to know if that is good or bad for my handicap level or vs the pros. That could be accomplished by showing comparative make percentages by handicap or doing a strokes gained calculation. Same idea for approach shots since I can see my proximity but don't know if that is good or bad. I should work on all approach distances but it would be very helpful to know if I am really hurting myself at certain distances vs pros or scratch players (aspirational handicap).

Thanks for fixing the update to now work with iOS 10.3.1
However, I don't like the new display format. So much screen realestate is now left empty... hopefully this is fixed in the next update.

Terribly frustrating!
I spent an hour adding and re-adding a new course so I could begin to enter my round details and found it very difficult to even add my numbers! The app is not setup systematically and not user friendly at all! COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! I could create something better on excel in 10 minutes.

They sell your email information!!!
I have been getting non stop spam email after creating an account with these trolls. It is a decent app but was not worth the trade off of constant spam emails.

I'm a PGA professional coach/instructor and all my students use GRGS. If you don't know where your strengths and weaknesses are on-course, you don't know what to practice. I like it because I can follow all my players and help them to write practice plans.

Simple to use for any level of golfer that want to improve.
No matter your level, every golfer should try GRGS to track their statistics in order to improve.
The app has to be the simplest and best method out there for inputting the basic information it asks for, place hit from (lie), result, club used and distance to the target. That information is then automatically translated into a compete set of statistics to help you identify the areas in which you should be working on.
I've tried so many methods to track my game in order to improve. Pen and paper, spreadsheets, expensive subscriptions and even cheap and basic apps and nothing comes close to the performance and value of GRGS.
I highly recommend it to anyone no matter what level of golf you play.

Too many picks
Tried it out on a practice round today. Gave up on it after the second hole. Too many picks. e.g. You tell it the result of your shot (fairway, rough, etc) then it asks for the lie on your next shot. Hello, I already told you I'm on the fairway. Don't make me pick it again.

Great app for golfers looking to improve via tracking their stats
Best score keeping app.
I've used many different golf apps and this one is by far the most complete. It doesn't leave any detail behind in regards to your golf stats unlike the others. This is definitely going to help me find my weak spots and focus in on them and hopefully finally break 80.
A great feature is that you can compare your stats with your friends, other players around you, and even some tour pros that use the app.
