Less than impressive. More frustrating than anything
Was super hopeful, but it’s been nothing but a let down. Issues with logging scores. When you enter, they don’t always save - and then it logs it as an incomplete game at the end. Also, you can’t see invitations from other users and where are the invites when you’re added by others? It’s nowhere to be found in the app.

Can’t login
This app used to be so good but they have a major bug. For the last 6 or so months I login then immediately it says my login expires. I pay for a GN subscription and I’m looking to get my money back. I can’t even use this app. I’ve deleted redownloaded you name it but it logs me out a few seconds after I login.

App doesn’t work
App will not allow me to create an account. Nor allows me to access as a guest. Pretty much a let down.
What’s the point?
Honestly, what’s the point of this app besides GPS and meeting people? Why can’t I look at my golf score history? Why is it difficult to access it? Suggest this app connect with GHIN!
Disappointing
The GolfNow Compete app has potential but is a major disappointment due to limited game and wager formats. For an app focused on golf competition, the three traditional games (Nassau, Medalist, Stableford) feel insufficient, lacking variety like skins or scrambles.

Quit working at my home course
I have used Golf Now Compete for a few years. Suddenly, I can not pull up the GPS for the past two months. Another golfer in my group has it and it works on his IPhone.
Can’t create account
I’d probably rate this app higher if, when I try to create an account, it didn’t ask me for my password and then tell me I’ve given the incorrect password. Not having an account makes it difficult to give the correct one.
If it had Apple Watch capabilities
If it had an Apple Watch capability, this would be my go to app! so as of now, I still have to keep using 18Birdies so I can just look down on my watch to see the yardage without having to carry my rangefinder! Everything else on the app is very simple. Only thing missing is that Apple Watch capabilities

Scoring issue
I had to wait till after the round was done to post scores. The app cannot function without access to your data plan. Given the mountains at Sequoyah National, you’re not always going to have a signal. That’s not the only case. But it should be thought through.
Great start needs a few things
Would like to be able to pick my club on the drive at least and be able to build my bag with attached distances

Horrible update
I’ve used this app for around 3 years or so and I love it!! I updated it a couple days ago as I have not golfed in around a year and this new update makes it virtually unusable! It takes multiple minutes to give me the option to “play now” and even when the GPS loads a course it will not even let me put my score in or even go to the next hole as it will just load and force me to close the app all together… I hope a fix comes quick for this as this is why I hardly ever update my apps.

Handicap Issue
Overall I like the app for competing with friends and tracking in round scores. However the handicap portion does not seem to work. I am. 15 handicap and the app gives me 14 to 19 strokes depending on the course we play. My friend is a 14 handicap and it gave him 25 strokes on our last round. Not sure what’s up with the calculation. Won’t use app for net scoring on competition's. Please fix this rating would be higher.
