Good update
This is by far the most promising golf rules app for serious learners and prospective USGA exam takers and rules officials. Keeping the original format structure of the GolfQuis app, which was able to stand on its own for quite some time, this updated version is able to incorporate the most modern rule changes as well as the updates in iOS software to provide a wonderful starting point for what could be an incredible application.

This app is awesome because I hate having to learn the rules even though they are helpful in tournaments. But this app makes it easy and fun. I can wait to start competing against my friends with this app. ⛳️
Challenging!
This app is challenging and really makes you think about every answer. it’s a great way to learn the rules. I think it would be helpful if the developer reference the The number of the actual rule. I find myself wanting to dig deeper, but don’t really know where to start. I enjoyed using it and would recommend it. I find the pricing reasonable at its current level.

A good source for thinking about golf rules
The questions posed in this app are generally well structured so that a careful reader can reach a meaningful answer. Through use, one’s understanding of the rules and of which facts are relevant will increase. I do notice that sometimes there are facts omitted that would assist in answering.

I haven’t started the App. I just downloaded and knew automatically I am going to enjoy it as a learning tool because I have never played Golf.

Felt Like a Bait and Switch
Downloaded and was using. Lots of typos and such, but OK. Then all of a sudden my “Free Trial” was over and they wanted $5. I don’t mind apps charging, but I had no idea I was in a trial period.
If they want to charge, this app should be much better. You should be able to link to the specific rule being quizzed on and even an explanation. Also, too many of the same question kept popping up. Yes, I know if you hit a person or equipment by accident, there is no penalty. This would come up multiple times on each quiz. Silly.
I’m going to wait to pay for a better constructed app.

Out of Date
Really disappointed the app does not reflect all the up to date rules.
It’s not free!!
The App Store doesn’t disclose that there are in-app purchases involved. After playing for several rounds, I was promoted in a pop up screen to buy a subscription and there was no option to continue for free. My complaint isn’t that that want to charge, but that this isn’t disclosed on the App Store or anywhere in the intros (that I saw).

Good idea
Great idea for learning though the questions repeat quite a bit and don’t fully cover everything though I’m only on level 5. I like the scenario concepts though.

Super helpful to learn the golf rules
One quibble
The only thing keeping me from giving us a five star review is the fact that the same question can occur multiple times in the same round, which feels like an oversight.
Won’t let me play a normal game
I’ve played this game for almost 2 months now and I just went in today and it won’t allow me to play another normal game unless I Subscribe to Golf quis Pro. I see no in app purchases warning on this listing and this came as a surprise to me, please fix it this.

Helpful for learning the rules of golf
Helpful app for learning the dizzying number of rules for golf. Gives hypothetical scenarios to apply the rules to, so while it doesn’t quite make learning the rules fun, it beats the heck out of reading through the rules & trying to remember them that way.
