GoLog · Life Footprint Map

GoLog 2.0 is the full-fledged GoLog — from the data engine to map rendering, from cities to medals, this release brings it all together. Upgrade note: On first launch, 2.0 will automatically migrate your old data. The more data you have, the longer it takes. Please make a backup first, and keep the app in the foreground during migration. If you run into any problems, contact the developer. Added • Mapbox high-performance renderer: once enabled, Dots, Lines, and Fog fill the Full Data view seamlessly — smooth even with large data sets • The city system now supports first- and second-level cities worldwide. Photos can light up cities too. After updating, run "Recalculate City Data" once in "Data Maintenance" • A new medal system: 3D relief, tiered medals, country flags, province/state and city collections, with AR viewing and custom engraving • Train tickets and flight tickets now use wallet-style card stacks; import a VariFlight flight-track CSV to generate flight tickets automatically. Just choose "Incremental Import (CSV File)" in "Footprint Data Import" • New "Motorcycle" activity type • Import third-party fog data; it only affects the fog display and is not counted as footprints Improved • Mapbox maps now support Fog in the Full Data view — both MapKit and Mapbox can display fog • Grid mode upgraded to Hex grid: the old square grid is now a hexagonal grid, for a cleaner look • A brand-new data engine: faster to open, less storage, and smooth even with tens of millions of footprints • Large page titles, card-flow layouts, and more consistent button styles make the overall look cleaner • Visit Place details now let you adjust the location of an individual visit record Fixed • Fixed the Mapbox scale bar keeping the same length at some zoom levels, and distances appearing too large after restoring footprints from the Trash • Fixed track completion issues caused by metro and railway data problems And many more detail improvements.
