Will not connect to tv!

Very frustrating. I go to select my device like it says to and it keeps telling me to download another app. Okay I do that. Then that app is telling me to download the app I was just in! Not allowing any connection! Just wanting to play tag with the apps! It’s ridiculous!

Why tell me to purchase another app after I make a purchase on this one

The remote worked fine for our google tv until I purchased premium. Then it kept telling me that it wasn’t a Google device and to try another remote app. So since spending money on the app the remote has not worked. Tried the app it recommended spent more money there only for it not to work.
