GomiGuide Japan

GomiGuide Japan tells you exactly which garbage goes out on which day at your Tokyo address — so you never miss trash day again. Built for foreign residents and anyone who has moved to a new ward. Pick your special ward and chōme once. From then on, GomiGuide shows today’s collection, a full calendar, and how to sort everyday items — in English and Japanese, and it works offline. WHAT YOU GET • Today — color-coded cards for what goes out at your address today and tomorrow • Calendar — month view of burnable, non-burnable, recyclables, plastics, and more • Item search — look up bottles, batteries, futons, and other household items • Reminders — on-device notifications the night before or the morning of collection • Multiple addresses — home, work, or a friend’s place, each with its own schedule • Offline-first — Tokyo’s 23 special wards work without a signal after setup • Bilingual — English and Japanese throughout COVERAGE Tokyo’s 23 special wards, including Minato, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Setagaya, and the rest. Collection rules differ by ward and even by town/chōme. GomiGuide uses official municipal open data — not a single city-wide calendar. IMPORTANT GomiGuide is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any Japanese national, prefectural, or municipal government. Always confirm with your ward’s official website or office when rules change, or before relying on the app for anything with legal consequences. The app is free. Optional tips (Coffee, Bento, Ramen) support development and unlock no features. No ads. No cross-app tracking. Routine reminders stay on your device.
