I hate it.
Okay, I don’t actually. This game is very entertaining, I just discovered it as a mini game in another game so I downloaded this version for my phone. But I will say it makes me feel like the absolute stupidest person on this planet. I thought I was at least somewhat smart before playing this but now after playing I am sure that I have an IQ of 12. I have only played on the beginner difficulty and have played over 100 games and I still have not beat the bot ONCE. I only play on beginner because I have never really even played this game before downloading it, so of course I don’t know any strategies or anything but still. Isn’t the whole point of a beginner level for it to be designed for people who have not played it? I am insanely stubborn and refuse to give up until I win at least once on my own. I refuse to look up any strategies or advice, because I don’t want it. I just want to beat this game ONE TIME on my own on beginner level.
P. S. I commend the game for having very unobtrusive ads as they are only 5s ones every 2 games or a 30s one for an extra undo. Very tolerable and not obnoxious.

It’s your own mistakes that make you lose
A nice app, well laid out and a thought through design. It reinforces the fact that it’s your own lack of strategic thought that results in a loss. But it’s good fun. Sadly, ruined by an infernal ghastly grim and unnecessary surfeit of adverts in between games which these days seems par for the course with absolutely anything and everything. They are repeated so much you get to hate the brand they push ensuring the advert defeats itself. Still I suppose they put food on the developer’s table and pay for his children’s foot ware and I guess I would do the same if I was in the developer’s position. It is what it is. I don’t think this review will be posted but that’s life.

It’s great!
It’s a great app for playing gomaku. I really enjoyed playing it on this app because of the simple setting and there’s scarcely any adds too.

A fine game
Works well, although I have found ways to win every time on difficulties up to hard and it does not respect the “overline” rule. 6 in a row should not be a valid win condition.

I love Gomoku！ I did find a glitch where you place a white piece instead of a black piece. With the glitch, you can’t really win on your turn. Other than that, it’s a good game
