Great Timer

Really useful timer that has easy settings that you can adjust to your preferences.

Neither hill nor valley

Just right. Options neither too many nor too fussy, and the displays have a calming beauty. This is my go-to for mindful meditation.

Wonderful app ☺️🙏

Does everything needed as a meditation app, to help develop mindfulness and quietitude ☺️

Response from developer

Thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your wish 🙏 I'm really glad you enjoy the app. Good news: this is now implemented in version 1.2.3! The timer keeps running and the gongs still sound when your iPhone is locked, so it works for walking meditation too. If your app hasn't updated automatically yet, just grab the latest version from the App Store. If you have any questions or feedback, I'd love to hear from you at support@gongmeister.app. - Peter

Wonderful app. With one request.

Thanks for making this wonderful app! 🙏😊 One request: if the timer can ring even when the phone is locked (similar to the Meditation Timer Pro app), it would be the most perfect app (so I can use for walking meditation too)! Would appreciate you kindly consider adding it 🙏😊

Simple, transformative, & elegant

I’ve used all the big-name meditation apps and each of them made me feel overwhelmed with all the decisions I had to make and buttons I had to press to start a meditation session. GongMeister is the complete opposite—it’s a delight, it’s simple, lightweight, and non-disruptive. Kudos to the developer. They really thought through the design, user experience, and the goal that a user wants to achieve in meditation. Highly recommend!! And, I also encourage users to donate to the developer in-app (it’s completely optional) to give them a big thanks for the simplicity and for making the app free to all.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for this review. It genuinely moved me. The experience you described is exactly what I felt when I tried other meditation apps. Before I could even close my eyes, I was bombarded with questions, prompts, and decisions.. and it didn't stop after the session either. I just wanted to meditate. That feeling is precisely why I built GongMeister. Knowing that someone else experienced the same thing, and found in this app what they were looking for, means a lot to me. And thank you for encouraging others to support the app. Every contribution helps me keep it free, ad-free, and growing. Wishing you many peaceful sessions. 🙏 - Peter
