Basic and slow
I can look up my membership number and that’s about it. Clicking on other menu items yields such slow response it’s basically just displaying blank white pages. Why isn’t there a member login from front page?
Outdated
The park listings in the app are incredibly outdated. I have used the search feature for two recent trips and at least 50 percent of the parks listed are no longer affiliated with Good Sam. Some saying that they hadn’t been with Good Sam for years!!

This app is very confusing and definitely not user friendly. I was exploring its potential and was able to attempt to plan a trip after viewing the map I was not able to find it again. I would go to the gs app and open trips and all it would give me was Rv rentals.
Reviews of RV Parks Are A Joke
We booked a stay in Ocean City Maryland based on the review from Good Sam giving it a 9.5/10/10. What a joke! As soon as we got there I used the restroom at the office and the bathroom was disgusting. Toilet bowl was brown and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 4 mos. Our rig is 40 ft and we have a garage with our golf cart which we told them. They put us in a site that was 40 ft long, had to park truck in the tiny bit of yard they gave us, over the fire pit. Wi-Fi is like dial up, speed limit not enforced and I mean going 35 on up inside the park. Kids 12 and under driving golf carts. I miss Trailer Life and Woodall’s where they actually did rv park inspections!

Useless
App does not work!!! App improvements are not needed, not wanted, total useless! 😖👎
Impossible to use
This app is nearly impossible to use while traveling. Even at home login and tracking routes is terrible.
Trip planner
This app is junk.whoever put it together should be ashamed to call it a good app. As a camper who travels the trip planner was a great help.Actually thought it should have been setup to let the planner look at different miles per day. Hope Good Sam can get it fixed soon.

I uninstalled and reinstalled GS app. Don’t see trip planner tab. Also when I tap My Trip tab I expect to see an RV reservation I just booked on the app.
Maybe I am not going to the correct place in the app.
There is plenty of information if you want pay money for various fees like Tire Protection or Roadside. Just not finding what I am looking for.

Hard to use app
When I open the app it takes through a very long process to get signed in. And when you get to a campground and they want to see your good Sam account number it is so small on the screen you need a magnifying glass to read the numbers. You should increase the font size of the account number.

The updated GS app is horrible compared to the original!!!
I updated to the new app, sorry I did that! I have been a GS member since 1987. The original version of the app was light years ahead of this current version. I can longer search easily by using a city or town or by using a specific RV Park name. I get frustrated trying find GS campgrounds that I have been staying at for years that won’t show up in searches. I can’t get to the information on campground layouts, site and hookup information, websites, photos, rules etc. Please go back to the original version or at least supply some new instructions for navigating the “New and Improved “ upgrade! I have to go to google now to find all the information I used to be able to get at one location, the old Good Sam original version!!! HELP or I see you losing your customers.

Better tan the new one!
The newer (GS TRAVEL) App is unbelievably worse! Doesn’t transfer saved personal data such as favorites & comments from this one, and buries the original goal of the club (Rating and detailing RV park info) under a bunch of rental and sales related stuff. Makes me embarrassed to be a Life Member of GS.
This App does a pretty good job of providing the key information needed to plan trips and book sites in a manner similar to the printed books and maps. I don’t plan on dumping this App as long as it still works.

Best camping app
We love this app. Love the camp ratings and campgrounds we’ve used. We never travel in our RV without it.
This app is terrible.
You can’t log in. There are supposed to be perks for certain gas stations this app ain’t for that. And why is there so many good Sam apps. This is very disappointing

This app is beyond useless. The menu choices are not consistently available and it seems to forget you signed in

Needs work
I agree with another post about not being able to comment about a park in the Good Sam App. It’s frustrating when you see a park rated high by Good Sam and then you go there and it doesn’t match the rating!!!
There has got to be a way for members who PAY to BE MEMBERS post what we actually experience and show photos to back up our claims!!! So they can be re-evaluated properly !!!

Pointless app
The app doesn’t allow access to my membership card. It does search for parks “near me” but I can’t use the app to book, or to verify membership to get my discount.
App is horrible
Hard to navigate and should let you enter your membership number so you can see what you all have signed up for. On a side note having different membership numbers for everything is horrible.
Can’t log in and no membership cards
As stated in other reviews we can’t log in as members can’t see if discounts have been applied, can’t book sites and no membership cards I find ludicrous.
