GoodCents

My winning submission for the Apple Swift Student Challenge 2025 GoodCents is a gamified interactive learning app that teachs the youth and young adults good money sense. You play the life of an 18-year-old fresh out of high school, who is just entering the workforce. In GoodCents, you clock into work by completing a quiz of money skill-related questions, complete lessons that teach you money skills, and then quizzes you on the topic to make sure you have a proper understanding. Every in-game week, you also encounter a random event where it’s up to you to decide whether you should spend your money; for example, you’re oven broke and are is in desperate need of repairs!
