Best maps BUT!
I have used google maps for over 12 years and everything has always worked very well. Recently they have been adding SPONSORED places when searching for something. STOP THIS!! I have already driven to 2 incorrect locations because I tap on the first one since I am use to them being the first option. I cant be the only one.

Garage door repair

Is it AI or the Canadian smoke?
Used this last week and it was flawless. Today I'm on i95 going 60 mph and the App thinks I'm on a bicycle and continually tries to reroute to surface roads. As I'm traveling down the freeway I see no way to select my mode of transportation. Hoping that Deleting the App & Reinstalling corrects this issue.

Fix the navigation
I have almost crashed a couple of times or been sent to dead routes because of the false navigation from the app. Yes I look around for surroundings but also have to think before making the next move. Google maps has been consistent with not placing the right route or rerouting me to a different lane leading me out of the highway just to tell me to get back up again (as an experience). idk if its the system or what, but fix it please.

Notes for Saved Locations
I miss being able to add notes to my saved locations. I yard sale and make a weekly list. I like to add notes of the time and items. Please fix this it is very frustrating not being able to do this anymore.
Worse and long options
This app has changed for the worse. Most of the times gives me the longest route. I’m going to stop using and use other apps at least they provide with the quickest and best routes.

Suggestions: Change the compass from cardinal points to a rotating one to show exact direction. Add elevation at location. Add a line at the bottom that tells what city and state you’re in.
No more direction while on active phone call
I’m not sure what update messed this feature up but it is much missed. After checking all settings for iPhone and Google Maps app I can not receive directions while on an active phone call. Seems a lot of folks are having this same issue and really wish this feature would come back.
