Map needs update
This is a great app to get you around to different places. The only problem is, this needs drastic updating with each location. I click on the image in the bottom left but some are dated from 2019. Update the image of each location, please.
Google maps Gemini update
The last update for Google maps as lost the speaker icon. Now unable to get voice directions.

OWNERS THUS EXPOSE THEIR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF NEGATIVE (BY REAL VIA EXPERIENCE/S) REVIEWS AND SHOULD THEY NEED TO BE RESPONSIBLE OF THEIR ROLE & NOT IGNORE BASIC STANDARDS OF THEIR PLACE. OTHERWISE THEY WILL NEED TO MEET THEIR SIDE OF OWN CONSEQUENCES.
(Most recent companies or new seemed to pend reviews on real experiences/feedbacks…? Unsure why my review has been pending for a week now…? Every owner seems to be very sensitive and does not allow negative (where realistic) ratings to be influenced where should be applied fairly. This is becoming very concerning how reviewing is truly affecting and owners takes no strong responsibility to improve whatsoever.
Most locations/pinned were very inaccurate, and had to Sherlock Holmes my way out of it. Please address these issues seriously and update hugely…
I also highly suggest to add an feature option for select all (drag) to remove from the favourites list, as this will benefit to reset/clear without needing to manually remove per as can take too much time by doing so, without therefore needing to delete your account for a fresh start.

Doesn’t do what you ask it to. Was trying to search for restaurants open now (1230am) to find a place to go to and it showed places that open around 8-11am

Sharing a link to a map location to planned itinerary fails to open on mobile app.

On review of other map apps, Google Maps is the leader of the pack.

Add road closures reports
Too often I hit a street you want me to turn on, but the road is closed. This is not the same thing as a lane closure. The whole road is closed. I can’t make this left. I can’t go straight. Often due to construction or events. I live in LA and this happens frequentlyyyyy. Please add the ability for us to add road closures under “add a report” - thanks

I been noticing a lot of missing areas of the map and navigation issues while using CarPlay
Overall
Improving all the time. I like it . 👍some new roundabouts around that I have noticed haven’t been submitted as yet
Not great
If it doesn’t know the local area, it shouldn’t make up stuff. Eg. at a train station in Switzerland it makes up exits that don’t exist. If I were Google, I would adress that as a priority.
