I enjoy using GoPatter with walking my Husky! It not encourages me to stay active but it allows me to earn points to get free gift cards. Who doesn’t like free stuff??!
Pretty good
Great that I can earn towards a goal of a gift card. Not much to interact with since it’s ideally meant to be used as you walk your dog and not as a distraction. I do enjoy the weekly game board but wish it was more frequent or maybe have a higher opportunity/reward if one does wind up using the app and logging in the walking goal daily for a full week.

Really fun app, lets you earn rewards by walking your dog, completing quizzes, also stores vet and vaccine info. App has improved a lot on walk tracking and works really well.

I couldn’t seem to edit my original review so I’m writing a new one. This app is great, I haven’t lost any more walks since the recent major update so I’m really excited to keep walking! Thus far I’ve cashed out twice without any problem. I just wish I had found it sooner.
Improved
Haven’t used the app in a while- the step counter looks so great now! I like the counter in the lock screen. Way to go! Excited to use this more regularly again.
Needs fixing
The app could be great if you can track your steps accurately. The only way it tracks my steps if I have the app open and looking at the screen, if it’s in my pocket, it does not track any of my steps. How am I supposed to pay attention to my surroundings if I’m looking at the app to make sure it’s tracking my step.

Dog walking app works, mostly
So the only reason this isn’t five stars yet is for times when I’ve had to walk extra to get credit for our walk that we already did, until the app crashed like others have mentioned. It seems better with the new update this week though, so I’m hopeful to update my review soon to give five stars. I’ve redeemed real money though so it’s definitely legit if you can get it to work properly. I also need to be able to update my goal for the week to receive more points overall.

Crashes during walks
I love this app and I hate giving it a low rating. They have responsive customer service, fantastic perks and cool challenges. But I’ve had the app for a good amount of time now and it consistently crashes while recording steps. Once I start a walk I put my phone in my pocket and may not look again for a while. I’ve had many instances of looking at Patter at the end of a walk and finding out it has crashed and half my steps weren’t recorded, and sometimes that means I couldn’t get my gameplay for that week. Also sometimes I do record a full walk, but when I open the app the next day and start a new one, it’s still in the previous day’s walk and I can’t start a new one.

I did 0.6 today in a frequently visited place - Nothing.
I tried just walking in my house to test it -Nothing.
It has gypped me out of two days. I only have two more days to get credit. (It’s already been updated.)

This is so cute like you get to walk every day and rewards you get to a reward for you and your dog or just for your dog and it gives you a reminder you know to walk at least once a day so it allows you to do something and get out there so you and your dog have like a little treat
