Apparently not compatible w iPhone 16
Worked years ago but no longer usable. “Protocol faults” using Dash Commander, simply won’t connect using this app. It shows connection in the iPhone Bluetooth list but that’s it. Looks like my GoPoint device is now e-scrap.

It was a very good scanner. But it hasn’t been updated to use newer phones.
I spent how much on this app and device?
Ok so I spent way too much on the device that went with this app only to have GoPoint forget to maintain the app. Last update was how long ago? Come on guys, you can do better than that. You made a ton of money off of suckers like me. Do the right thing and update your app.

iPhone 13 Pro Max. Deleted and reinstalled, but it still crashes before you ever get any useful info.

Doesn’t seem to be supported on iPhone 14. Used to work great on my iPhone 6s. Seems like it needs an update.

Paid for itself many times over
Bought way back when Popular Mechanics reviewed the app and reader. They gave it high marks back then and today I’m continuing giving it high marks and recommendations.
Used to be great
I’ve used this app for years. I first had the wired OBD2 plug and then the wireless version. The app used to show you what monitors were set but no longer. Now its useless.
Love it
Love the app have had it since the gl1 and it works on every vehicle I have. My only problem is how Apple constantly updates and GoPoint is behind on making it compatible
Cable no longer supported
The GL1 cable is no longer supported apparently, so when you update the app, your expensive cable is useless. Very disappointing.

Works great, directions need help
I got this after I had a check engine light that cost me $90 to diagnose and clear for a loose gas cap. (Code P0456).
The app and device cost the exact same price, so I bought this system and have now cleared two code P0456s. So I have save $90 now.
The directions should tell you that some cars need engine to be turned off to clear the light.
On the other hand, Gopoint has a tech support person who is easy to reach and told me this detail right away, so not a big deal.

Sometimes the app doesn't detect that it is connected to the iPod
Works well but has a few problems
This app works well with the GoPoint BT1 and is a great way to scan live engine data and watch the normal function of your engine in real time. However, it has a few problems:
- There is no mechanism for adding parameter IDs to the app, preventing other subsystem and sensor data such as engine oil temp or transmission temp from being scanned. This makes the app much less useful.
- The UI wastes space and only allows three live data readings to be displayed at a time. A slimmer UI would allow more readings to be shown at once.
- There is no mechanism to hide readings of subsystems and sensors that you don't care about. This forces a lot of scrolling to be done.
- The live MPG reading doesn't work for all vehicles.

Needs an update for IOS 9
Fairly good app, but no longer works. Needs to be updated for use with IOS 9. Now I have a $100 OBDII Reader that is useless.
Use to work perfect
Updated iOS device to 9.0.2 and now app crashes every time I open it. Please fix!

App forces you to create an account, wants to enable location services and all for what? So you know the make and model and location of my car? Really isn't necessary. Ignoring all of that, it only really doesn't do much to deserve more than 1 star

Needs fix for iOS 9
I like the app was working well, until the iOS 9 update. Get on it and fix this!!! I use this app a lot for my job, and it's very inconvenient to not be able to use it. Please fix soon!!!
