Version 13.39 Bug
HERO11 Black, iPhone 17 Pro. When viewing clips directly from the camera in Quik, dragging the main playback timeline causes the scrubber to move but immediately snap back to its original position. This occurs with all clips. Downloaded copies scrub normally, and Grab Photo/Trim controls work normally. Resetting the camera connection and reinstalling Quik did not resolve it.

Crashes, can’t control mix
It crashes frequently. Then it asks me to pay for an upgrade. Appreciate the price is reasonable at least—but I won’t buy crashy software. Also can’t control music level, it just blasts the whole time or nothing
App freeze
The app freezes on loading screen, and when it does let me in it freezes up when trying to edit. Need to go back to whatever version it was on 2 years ago.
How does this app have a 4.8 rating?
This is an honest question. We have had this service for years and when we attempt to view footage from the Apple TV we are met with buffering ( by which I mean the video stops playing ). It’s unfortunate. 🥲

Great feature, frustrating ecosystem
I genuinely like Quik’s automatic edits — it’s one of the main reasons I pay for GoPro Premium. But the way finished edits are handled is unnecessarily frustrating.
I can create a Quik edit on my iPhone using footage in my GoPro cloud account, but that finished video isn’t then available when I log into the same GoPro account on my Mac/web browser. To keep it in my GoPro library, I have to export it to Apple Photos, transfer/access the file on my Mac, and then manually upload it back to GoPro Cloud.
Why? I’m already paying for GoPro cloud storage. If I create and save a video in GoPro’s own app, it should simply appear in my GoPro account everywhere.
I’d also really like Quik editing back on Mac, or at least proper web-based editing. Action cameras generate huge amounts of high-resolution footage, so restricting the best editing features to a phone feels completely backwards.
Quik’s automatic editing is excellent. Please make the ecosystem around it equally good. At the moment the friction is actively encouraging me to export my footage, find another editing solution and reconsider renewing Premium (I won’t until it’s fixed)

File Name and Exporting is bad
While I like the convenience of the app to be able to preview all of my footage, I would like for the app to use a better naming system for every single individual screenshot other than “GPTempDownload”. I will keep this review at 1 star till there is a change.
Absolute Rubbish!!!
GoPro users will be stuck to using their phones because they will not update the Mac app! I quit, I’m selling my GoPro, nothing but hassle, rubbish software, battery life is a joke and the camera quality is rubbish compared to DJI. Goodbye and I hope you go broke.

The app continues to ask me to enable Bluetooth to add a GoPro, even though I did already. I turned it on, off, and back on again. Nothing works

I have a GOPRO HERO 8 Black, that I bought new when they came out, and it and all of GOPRO software has been complete junk, and hands down the worst purchase I've ever made. I highly suggest everyone stay away from them and buy DJI!!!!!

Broken
They made changes to share links without notifying the users. You are unable to download media from share links as of last week. Dealing with their customer service has been horrid, they just give you AI generated responses via email that provide no solutions whatsover. I would steer away from this app.

Fails To Save Edits!
Why does this POS app fail to save reframe edits every, single, time? Why do I have to redo my work? No wonder users aren't signing up for more premium features often!
Bugs out
It will bug out and kick you out the app while editing I have a iPhone 15 so Ik it’s not the phone and all my other editing apps work just fine but this one takes forever to load videos when you click play freezes up a lot honestly how are going to make a $400 camera but not put work into your app
Awful. Rarely pairs with camera.
Constantly having to reboot the camera and repairing every time I want to access my videos. Sometimes the app will work seamlessly for 2 days then it will just not pair.
