King Kong on Bass
I love this app. So accessible, and better than some other bass enhancers I have tried. It is cool for real time filtering too. I would have given it 5 stars, but the midi mapping of some parameters doesn’t work and the saving user presets I created in AUM host, don’t seem to translate to the stand alone as the app itself suggests. Maybe I haven’t figured it out yet, but it just seems to fail. I was truly surprised how cool this enhancer was, and if those glitches were fixed it would be a glorious, simple, but incredibly effective plug in.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED
I programmed it thinking, “Yeah, this sounds pretty cool for a little app.” Then I plugged it into my Headrush… and just sat there, shaking my head in disbelief. The tone—massive, alive, unreal.
Mid-jam, I accidentally shut the program down, switched to bass, played through a song, then fired it back up just to use the tuner—and boom. The difference hit me like going from 16-bit to full 32-bit float. Absolutely jaw-dropping.
I can’t even describe how good this sounds. Thank you for creating something this incredible. Long live Gorilla! 🦍🔥

Still NOT fixed
Seeing that the developers finally issued a fix,I tried this again under Logic Pro, and guess what, it’s still broken. Can’t change presets by clicking name up and down chevron, no list appears, and any setting is lost when Logic is closed then reopened. Clueless coding.
Absolutely disgraceful
This app arrived broken. Specifically, it fails to retain AU3 settings under LogicPro, etc. How testing missed something so fundamental eludes me. The developers know about the problem, have a fix, but have failed to release it. This is seriously poor customer service. Good as the sounds this can make are, it is barely useable in its current state and the experience has put me off buying from these guys again.

Both issues have been resolved. The plugin now properly retains AU3 settings in LogicPro, and the fix has been released. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we hope this improves your experience with our product.
