Comme pour Raven, l’interface de Gorilla est tournée vers l’efficacité tout en restant esthétique.

Hi! In fact, the synth does run on macOS, so if you've bought it for iPad/iPhone, try running it on your Mac and in your favorite DAW 🙂

Simplicity personified!

First review I’ve written, just felt I really wanted to just say, really well done, you’ve managed to perfectly capture exactly what in my opinion a synth, particularly bass synth needs to be. This is perfect for my needs, it’s clear/crisp interface really appeals. I have spent most of my life using Analogue gear so this is right up my street. Great sound. Also really appreciate the open positive attitude of the developer. Please if possible can you add midi learn functionality for AuV3(Drambo specific) otherwise perfect!

Hi Ben, thanks a lot for taking the time to write this, really appreciated! Glad to hear it clicks with your analogue background and that the interface and sound are working for you. So, I built this with analogue hardware design and workflow in mind, so it’s great to hear that comes through. I’ll add MIDI learn for AUv3, including Drambo, to the backlog at least. No promises on timing, but it’s on the list. Thanks again for the kind words and support 🙂

Inspiring Synth

Bass synths don't typically fit in my style of music, but the sounds on this one are too good not to use. Tasty and inspirational timbres for any genre.

Hi! Thanks for the review, I’m really glad you like the sound of GORILLA. Regarding workflow, you are correct! Gorilla was originally designed around a performance-first approach, but based on early user feedback I’m already working on improving navigation and making all parameters accessible on all devices. Really glad you’re enjoying Gorilla. Gorilla is intentionally a subtractive synth inspired by classic analog hardware, so it doesn’t support sample import by design. That said, sample-based and more experimental instruments are something I’m actively exploring for future FERAL-AUD.IO releases, so definitely keep an eye out. Have a wonderful holiday break!
