About
We are Gorkhas from Gorkha district in Nepal, where the name of fierce soldier “GURKHA” originally came from. Due to its high altitude and association with snow capped mountain rare herbs, like Jimmu, Timur, etc are used in daily cooking, making food subtle taste with a lot of medicinal benefits widely believed from these spicy herbs. So here in our Sheldon’s Gorkha Lounge, Our Chef has handcrafted delicacies using some unique spices from trained chefs serving in the industry for a very long time. Nepalese Gorkha foods are distinctively flavored than normal curry, healthier as foods are cooked traditionally using less oil, less salt, and avoiding artificial food colors.
